dunno

2020-11-23 00:42:31 UTC

No.

2020-11-23 00:42:56 UTC

They only have to prove you shot and killed someone.

2020-11-23 00:42:56 UTC

good to know, I'll keep this in mind next time it is applicable 😛

2020-11-23 00:43:14 UTC

It's up to you to claim you did it in self defense.

2020-11-23 00:43:34 UTC

Because you did kill people, and that's likely proven.

2020-11-23 00:44:04 UTC

(At least in this case it is almost certainly proven)

2020-11-23 00:45:18 UTC

You'll learn about how prosecutors think when you're reading Robert's book. :P

2020-11-23 00:45:48 UTC

They're usually not looking at your best interests.

2020-11-23 00:46:44 UTC

Otherwise why would we need defense lawyers?

2020-11-23 00:47:34 UTC

There are some good prosecutors out there, but there are various things keeping them doing their job for the state and in the favor of the state.

2020-11-23 01:13:18 UTC

I get the prosecutors

2020-11-23 01:13:27 UTC

I never implied the prosecutors are nice

2020-11-23 01:13:38 UTC

but you are not talking about prosecutors

2020-11-23 01:13:41 UTC

you are talking about the law

2020-11-23 02:19:12 UTC

going back to the ballistics discussion

2020-11-23 02:19:25 UTC

it is quite common, when someone is shot, that they turn and twist as they fall down

2020-11-23 02:19:31 UTC

so the whole bullet in the back thing is probably a result of that

2020-11-23 02:19:35 UTC

wasn't one of the shots in the hip or thigh?

2020-11-23 02:19:56 UTC

thing is, I only counted 4 shots being fired by Rittenhouse. the ME listed 5 wounds, right?

2020-11-23 02:24:08 UTC

@Neph (Nec) / Krystaps (War) there was a second shooter according to the video...

2020-11-23 02:25:08 UTC

@JonM16, you just advanced to level 5!

2020-11-23 04:05:59 UTC

Robert has a book out??

2020-11-23 04:35:20 UTC

He does. He mentions it in his live streams.

2020-11-23 12:12:47 UTC

I'm just glad the guy is finally out of jail.

2020-11-23 14:24:59 UTC

yea, this way his cell number won't get leaked to that sketchy twitter account who wants to put a hit out on him

2020-11-23 14:26:50 UTC

said it once already, I hope he has a security consultant who has dealt with communists before.

2020-11-23 16:22:48 UTC

Kalief Browder.. saw a post about him on reddit.. that he allegedly stole a backpack and wasnt allowed to post $ 900 bond.. was incarcerated for 2 3 years no trail. And end it committing suicide. Different system for different people. He was 22

2020-11-23 16:41:15 UTC

Its america. They hang horse thieves and write songs about gunfighters. I, personally, find it refreshing.

2020-11-23 19:16:14 UTC

Yea, Mati. The court system in The Bronx, specifically, is so dysfunctional that it beggars belief.

2020-11-24 13:54:34 UTC

Who gets Rittenhouse's $2 million bail when it is returned at the end of the court case?

2020-11-24 14:24:12 UTC

Some opportunists, I reckon.

2020-11-24 14:36:16 UTC

not sure how that works, tbh

2020-11-24 14:37:37 UTC

Mr. Pillow and Mr.Shrader would get some.

2020-11-24 15:32:29 UTC

@neilcampbell Whoever paid it.

2020-11-24 15:32:55 UTC

Remember, there are companies that exclusively pay bonds for people.

2020-11-24 15:33:19 UTC

They're either well-intentioned people or very predatory from my understanding.

2020-11-24 15:33:30 UTC

As you could imagine the business model.
