it used to be a part of LE protocol to demonstrate lethal.
Kyle wasn't brandishing.
that is not what I mean.
Long rifles are a bit different.
It used to be protocol to show the perp that "I am holding a sidearm"
that is no longer any point. The Rittenhouse video shows that the milennials are so egocentric they do not fear firearms.
They actually dont understand that they can get shot.
So there is no point in display or warningshot.
I'm pretty sure anyone under 35 probably feels that way the majority of the time.
Including boomers.
It's not generation-specific.
You just feel more invincible when you're younger.
We have seen many cases of this same thing happening throughout US history.
Oh, but it is.
boomers would spread like a herd of zebras at the first shot.
the protocol for such situations said that who ever remains in the cowd after the first shot is to be considered a combattant. As civilians run way fro gunfire.
This has changed now.
They get aggressive instead.
So less "civilian" and more "zombie"
Its the lack of ability to abstract in the milennial.
It doesn't bode well for future plane hijackers, if the paradigm is to collectively confront the threat. Then again, plane. Nowhere to run, I reckon.
"this is a hijacking!"
"F**k, you man! You dont tell us where to go!
"but.....there is a bomb on the plane!"
"F**k your bomb! Try blowing us up, motherf*r! I double dare you!"
😄
I have avoided a few fights by looking at people like that lol
I recommend not doing that. You are danger close and closing your field of vision.
Actually closing distance is good depending on your tactics and style. That said, I was referring to the "crazy eyes" I have also said "Let's do it asshole" 🤣 most miscreants back off if you don't show weakness.
ok....
It really isn't, you have a narrow field of vision.
Remember, you're built to be a hunter, not prey.
This is why ranging tactics are extremely useful in hand-to-hand combat, especially if you have more reach.
Also, that close, you can't see them if they pull a knife before you get stabbed.
Or worse, they pull a gun.
Like this is the exact reason spears were such a good combat weapon.
And why Leonidas used them.
we should have someone with forensic and EM experience to tell us how people get killed in barfights...
Stabbings, punches to the nose in a very particular way, or falling and hitting their head I presume.
If you pull a gun in a bar, you’re an idiot!
We weren't talking specifically about a bar.
Humans are not built to be hunters anymore! The convenience of life itself has made most people too soft to be given that name! Sadly, the tactics of combat are also a lost art in today’s age as conflict in any form is frowned upon.
@{CAP}Radeon, you just advanced to level 1!
