The Supreme Court does that

2020-11-27 04:40:41 UTC

So by similar argument, a president biden should also be unable to pull back president trump's policy

2020-11-27 04:41:03 UTC

But something tells me that's not the way it would go down

2020-11-27 04:41:43 UTC

Maybe he doesn’t want to take sole responsibility?

2020-11-27 04:41:49 UTC

Like look the courts agreed

2020-11-27 04:41:53 UTC

Im guessing Trump will be making alot of new crazy policies. Like the execution of 6 death row immates

2020-11-27 04:42:10 UTC

He is killing people out of spite?

2020-11-27 04:42:44 UTC

President trump has a history of supporting the death penality. It's not a spite thing

2020-11-27 04:43:05 UTC

Sorry... Making dinner... I don't think that the Left sees the court as a shortcut, per se. No more than the Right in trying to do things like overturning Obama Care. The key is to have a court that will provide the checks and balance that the constitution intended. A super majority that rubber stamps conservative actions/legislation and blocks liberal actions/legislation would not be in keeping with our democratic ideals.

He told Barr by December 6 will die

2020-11-27 04:43:25 UTC

Because according to global media, the Republicans have already "packed the courts".

2020-11-27 04:43:36 UTC

That should be old news though, that's from a while ago

2020-11-27 04:43:55 UTC

When AG Barr authorized the use for 6 inmates

2020-11-27 04:44:27 UTC

He did..

2020-11-27 04:44:27 UTC

@MatiLuc, you just advanced to level 10!

2020-11-27 04:44:30 UTC

Unless there are new inmates, I'll have to check

2020-11-27 04:44:36 UTC

They literally did this for Gay Marriage

2020-11-27 04:44:56 UTC

And Roe v Wade

2020-11-27 04:45:25 UTC

you obviously haven't listened to them talking about the SC, because they view it as a nice juicy target for this very reason

2020-11-27 04:45:39 UTC

hence the phrasing "Judicial Activism"

2020-11-27 04:45:56 UTC

Popular opinion is on the side of keeping it right

2020-11-27 04:46:09 UTC

What does this have to do with what republicans will do in retaliation ?

2020-11-27 04:46:42 UTC

Keeping what

2020-11-27 04:47:39 UTC

I thought the idea was that roe vs wade or gay marriage could be repealed without the Supreme Court like Daca technically could be. I don’t know I’m not paying attention

2020-11-27 04:47:51 UTC

nope

2020-11-27 04:47:56 UTC

DACA is an executive order

2020-11-27 04:48:06 UTC

any president could nix it

2020-11-27 04:48:18 UTC

Row V Wade was "interpreted" into the constitution

2020-11-27 04:48:28 UTC

But the backlash would be pretty big

2020-11-27 04:48:31 UTC

which means only another SC or a constitutional amendement can change it

2020-11-27 04:48:46 UTC

maybe, I dunno

2020-11-27 04:49:13 UTC

Trump didnt want to overturn DACA..

2020-11-27 04:49:15 UTC

James, you really should look into these issues regarding the US before having opinions. I understand you're not American but that's not an excuse

2020-11-27 04:49:15 UTC

@Elzam, you just advanced to level 8!

2020-11-27 04:49:23 UTC

Republicans won't touch daca or roe v wade

2020-11-27 04:49:34 UTC

we aren't talking about trump or republicans

2020-11-27 04:49:42 UTC

just the power of the SC and judicial activism

2020-11-27 04:49:46 UTC

Media hyped those issues

2020-11-27 04:50:02 UTC

Ok sorry

2020-11-27 04:50:16 UTC

He tried to overturn daca in 2017

2020-11-27 04:50:22 UTC

ohh @james j I didn't realize you aren't american
