This is true.

A voting machine isn’t connected to the internet nor is it a webpage. It’s also not about if something can be hacked it’s if it has. For example atms can be hacked but we don’t accuse people of stealing money from them without any evidence @AntiFish03

2020-11-27 19:37:31 UTC

Either way it’s a land grab. Hokan heights gives Israel a strategic advantage from a military standpoint. The land itself is very fertile and good for farming.

Can Trump proclaim one foreign nation's sovereignty over another's? It doesn't sound like something within his purview.

2020-11-27 19:39:14 UTC

I lack in knowledge when it comes to the Middle East 😳

2020-11-27 19:39:20 UTC

@AdamS large untapped oil Reserve just a bonus

2020-11-27 19:39:39 UTC

@Zuluzeit You can recognize sovereignty yes.

2020-11-27 19:39:43 UTC

@Beth this could help...oil

2020-11-27 19:39:49 UTC

Not recognised by the UN, EU, international community. However the deal had been softened by the recent sale of F35’s to UAE by trump.

2020-11-27 19:39:58 UTC

It’s always about the oil

2020-11-27 19:40:11 UTC

Yes sir

2020-11-27 19:40:13 UTC

Said that at the same time

2020-11-27 19:40:20 UTC

@Beth it's all about energy.

2020-11-27 19:40:42 UTC

@Maw Ah, it said proclaim. Recognizing seems like something he could do.

2020-11-27 19:41:01 UTC

I mean he's not the world's president.

2020-11-27 19:41:33 UTC

Lol no but that word goes a looonnngggg way.

2020-11-27 19:41:39 UTC

Could you imagine 😂

2020-11-27 19:41:44 UTC

50 gallons of oil is equivalent to 30 years of human work +- or something.

2020-11-27 19:42:06 UTC

The original message I was trying to reply to was specifically about online voting. I was merely mentioning that it is insanely insecure and that the attack surface is huge. I agree we don't accuse people for stealing from an atm without evidence but atms are actually fairly hardened devices. But a website for online voting is really soft.

2020-11-27 19:42:07 UTC

No. For the love of God I do not want to imagine that.

2020-11-27 19:42:16 UTC

Recognition can lead to proxy wars @Zuluzeit it's anything but a small statement.

2020-11-27 19:42:52 UTC

The world would go nuts. Or even more nuts I should say 😂

2020-11-27 19:43:17 UTC

I stutter to think lol

2020-11-27 19:43:20 UTC

See: Taiwan.

2020-11-27 19:43:43 UTC

Why do I find that thought hilarious 🙈

2020-11-27 19:44:02 UTC

🤣

2020-11-27 19:45:59 UTC

@Maw Not a small statement but a far cry from 'a proclamation declaring sovereignty'. Isreal already did that, long ago.

2020-11-27 19:46:36 UTC

It's usually seen as a way to intervene in foreign conflict, @Zuluzeit

2020-11-27 19:46:54 UTC

E.g: If China made a push on Taiwan, the US would likely intervene.

2020-11-27 19:47:45 UTC

One would think but no intervention was made in Hong Kong.

2020-11-27 19:47:52 UTC

Even with Biden in charge?

2020-11-27 19:47:53 UTC

@Maw He must have a reason at this late hour. Maybe something is about to happen.

2020-11-27 19:48:21 UTC

Good point

2020-11-27 19:48:22 UTC

Or maybe he is stirring the pot.

2020-11-27 19:48:37 UTC

Pulling lynch pins.

2020-11-27 19:48:38 UTC

Hong Kong wasn't in actual war, last I checked.

2020-11-27 19:48:52 UTC

Neither is China with Taiwan ?

2020-11-27 19:49:04 UTC

China has made war moves on Taiwan.
