precisely, it will never pay back in $ ... I got one because I thought I wanted a career in academics teaching at the university level but took a different path after acquiring one ... I've done fine for myself financially after that and almost definitely better than I would have had I stayed in academics but absent some very specialized occupations (such academics or research labs) you really don't need one

That's a loaded question... I have listened to in-depth interviews with Biden and been very impressed with his detailed level of understanding. He's no Obama with his oratory skills, but I have little doubt of his mental faculties. No more than I think that Trump has dementia based on his numerous verbal missteps.
