in the area were I live, exactly one year ago it was illegal to cover your face
all very strange
All too convenient
the streets where I live are completely covered by CCTV
Canary Wharf, South Quay, Poplar areas
you would have been fined by simply covering your face, and now you are expected to even outside
As Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, adamantly denied there was evidence of widespread voter fraud in the state, Perdue and Loeffler called on him to resign, ostensibly in an effort to curry favor with Trump. Collins also criticized Raffensperger, igniting an unexpected feud among the top Georgia officials.
“We strengthened signature match. We helped train election officials on GBI signature match — which is confirmed twice before a ballot is ever cast. Failed candidate Doug Collins is a liar — but what’s new?” Raffensperger wrote in a Facebook post earlier this month. https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/527549-five-things-to-know-about-georgias-senate-runoffs
I'm liking this Raffensperger fellow more and more
@meglide they all look like bank robbers from the past based solely off the picture.
Wait so Raffensberger is the good guy now
it does fit a theory from when Trump distanced himself from Sidney Powell
that she was going to bring some strong charges against Republicans in Georgia
for me yes
Interesting
Well trump folks are not fans
I was ambivalent, between possible disrepute from the charges and that theory
now it looks like that was a strong factor
@meglide please say he hasn't found the spiritual messaging link to Q?
I actually can’t wait to see what happens in the runoff’s, I mean only if they lose the senate. That would be just amazing
it was in Utah and someone took it already
Kraken eats it’s own tail
talking to Americans it's a bit annoying that some of them really root so hard for some outcome
and cannot separate that bias from their judgement of the legal situation
I'm currently trusting foreign prediction markets the most
but they do miss a lot of legal detail
@james j I actually tried to get one of those Kraken salads today all sushi places seem to be closed.
they're going to lose the Senate because of Trump, just watch https://www.newsweek.com/trump-supporters-georgia-ask-rnc-chair-why-they-should-vote-runoffs-when-system-rigged-1550938
@nachik Here in CA, we have been largely accepting of the restriction in order to keep the hospitalization rate down. We have around 24m people in southern CA - 3.2m in Orange County where I live. The greater London area is a densely populated area. Do your people share any of the concerns about minimizing the impact to the healthcare system?
we are currently so isolated and so censored
that I really don't know what people think
@nachik get in touch with your Inner Q.... all you'll ever need to know how about American politics.
I do some straw polling among friends I trust enough to ask
without fear that they will call the police
it's not raw it's overcooked
Really? I guess that's why it's like chewing on rubber.
here in London I think most people don't believe the situation is justified but at the same time, feel the need to signal that they do because it's safer for their personal standing
