I don't act in good faith as they should

2020-12-01 03:18:51 UTC

Idk man. Seems like the kind of thing I would clip a guy for in order to suppress it for the purpose of claiming fraud.

2020-12-01 03:18:52 UTC

Or they don't know about the breach until sometime after

2020-12-01 03:19:04 UTC

I looked at what I could publically they dont put white papers and such as some products it's more secret but basic features are listed

2020-12-01 03:19:10 UTC

There's just so many scenarios

2020-12-01 03:20:01 UTC

Paper trails are gold standard voters check the receipts it gets locked up

2020-12-01 03:20:02 UTC

My overall point is there's got to be something better... a trust system that no one trusts is worthless

2020-12-01 03:20:17 UTC

Georgia hand counted the print outs

2020-12-01 03:20:21 UTC

Definitely there should be a way for a voter to verify what their vote is

2020-12-01 03:20:40 UTC

Even with a hand count you don't know if you received fraudulent ballots

2020-12-01 03:20:48 UTC

And what about the input in the touch screen

2020-12-01 03:21:03 UTC

In the past I voted like that it never got any kind of paper verification and I felt weird about it at the time

2020-12-01 03:21:22 UTC

Before this election Georgia recount had no paper trail the machine counted them all and they yelled at their computer "check it again" and push a button and get the same result

2020-12-01 03:21:26 UTC

Honestly we don't know if our vote counts

2020-12-01 03:22:40 UTC

The newer dominion machines you select your votes it prints them you check and it gets locked

2020-12-01 03:22:44 UTC

If we don't collectively as a country figure out a way to make sure this doesn't happen in the future we are not very smart

2020-12-01 03:23:32 UTC

At my voting location they must you old style because there is no paper output...

2020-12-01 03:23:38 UTC

Or a different system

2020-12-01 03:23:57 UTC

Fooling the paper count is super hard and whatever you are doing would create the same problem with paper ballots

2020-12-01 03:24:04 UTC

But even with paper it would be nice to go back and look like

2020-12-01 03:24:12 UTC

Like I can look up a Bitcoin transaction

2020-12-01 03:24:29 UTC

Make sure what doesn't happen?

2020-12-01 03:24:41 UTC

Multi check for the end user

2020-12-01 03:25:30 UTC

There's got to be a country in the world that actually gets this right?

2020-12-01 03:25:39 UTC

Right?

2020-12-01 03:25:45 UTC

Maybe

2020-12-01 03:25:46 UTC

The admin side of security is the hard bits you have to trust somebody enough to admin the parts of the system

2020-12-01 03:26:17 UTC

Maybe we got it right and people are trying to confuse the populace for some reason.

2020-12-01 03:26:23 UTC

Js

2020-12-01 03:26:39 UTC

That could be true as well

2020-12-01 03:27:08 UTC

We have to watch them do their thing and judge as we go.

2020-12-01 03:27:48 UTC

We don't have access to it.

2020-12-01 03:27:53 UTC

Directly

2020-12-01 03:27:53 UTC

It's actually verify that Dominion is a branch of smartmatic and originated in Venezuela? That is a question?

2020-12-01 03:28:16 UTC

Voting machines tend to have your local folks in charge of running them.

2020-12-01 03:28:20 UTC

I know it's a claim and we've seen lots of claims.

2020-12-01 03:28:37 UTC

Could be true. Need court to hear it.

2020-12-01 03:29:00 UTC

The local folks running them is the scariest part of all.

2020-12-01 03:29:02 UTC

As far as I can tell dominion and smartmatic and a few others are competitors

2020-12-01 03:29:06 UTC

What about real-time stream of counts that would deduct from Trump votes significant numbers at a time as witnessed night of election. Having a difficult time understanding how that is possible.

2020-12-01 03:29:23 UTC

Sequoia was bought by dominion but that's older machines
