What evidence aside from election integrity do you have from politicians that shows you that they work in the interest of the people?

The Democrats have spent the last 4 years fighting Phantoms doing 0 for people

That's the structure of the election we put people in charge of local precincts and counties and states and volunteers etc etc. The notion they are all corrupt from all political spectrums is of course absurd

That may be the system but I don't trust the system

Also administrative positions are not nearly as political as politicians

They are just math nerds

Have you ever actually worked in an it environment

I could just see so much going wrong with out some way to verify what's going on in those computers. And I'm not even saying conspiracy I'm saying just mistakes

Without a way to verify how they're being maintained we don't really know

I mean it's not exactly the same as servers I work on but the concept seems similar to audit appliances we use

I mean it could be a top-notch system

But it seems like they would be trotting that inside out front and center

I'll tell you typically organization sit on data breaches and hope they don't come out because they don't want their stock price to drive...

I don't act in good faith as they should

Idk man. Seems like the kind of thing I would clip a guy for in order to suppress it for the purpose of claiming fraud.

Or they don't know about the breach until sometime after

I looked at what I could publically they dont put white papers and such as some products it's more secret but basic features are listed

There's just so many scenarios

Paper trails are gold standard voters check the receipts it gets locked up

My overall point is there's got to be something better... a trust system that no one trusts is worthless

Georgia hand counted the print outs

Definitely there should be a way for a voter to verify what their vote is

Even with a hand count you don't know if you received fraudulent ballots

And what about the input in the touch screen

In the past I voted like that it never got any kind of paper verification and I felt weird about it at the time

Before this election Georgia recount had no paper trail the machine counted them all and they yelled at their computer "check it again" and push a button and get the same result

Honestly we don't know if our vote counts

The newer dominion machines you select your votes it prints them you check and it gets locked

If we don't collectively as a country figure out a way to make sure this doesn't happen in the future we are not very smart

At my voting location they must you old style because there is no paper output...

Or a different system

Fooling the paper count is super hard and whatever you are doing would create the same problem with paper ballots

But even with paper it would be nice to go back and look like
