I think it depends a bit on the Reps... if they go crazy with the filibuster like before, I think the Dems will be forced to take action and get rid of it. Nobody wants to, but they learned from 2010. It they are too passive in trying to get things done, they will pay at the polls in the midterm. I also think that as long as Roberts is able to rein in the SC, they will be able to stave off any desire to pack the court.
When it comes to the senators they are more middle road they said dominion is rigged China machines so either those senator candidates get dominion removed from the state or refuse to vote for them
I was cracking up when I heard him say that they wanted a voting system with only hardware made in America. About as close as you could probably get is a system assembled in America. There are always components made overseas.
If Lin and Sidneys plan was to make their own party from early what they are doing is pretty smart because it appears to torpedo the GOP if it fails spectacularly
I'm not a fan of Trump. While I agree with some policy decisions I think he has been overall bad for the country. That being said, I don't trust Kamala Harris at all. I don't trust her because there is significant evidence that she was involved in decisions that resulted in minorities being jailed for significant amount of time for relatively minor offensives, that her professional decisions influence her personal relationships and vice versa and that she let ideological biases influence her decisions to pursue justice. I don't like Trump so I don't feel like I have to defend him to feel animosity toward Harris given her history.
Biden is going to be a non-president. He will be removed or become incapasiated due to health issues and Harris will be president before his first term has ended. I think many democrats are banking on this in fact.
I sincerely hope this doesn't happen. As much as I would like see the left suffer for their bad decisions, no one would make it out of this. If our country ever recovered it would be decades before anyone could expect to have a comfortable and financially stable livelihood and that is a big if.
That could work: we take nearly 40% of the US GDP with us. We keep the Pacific fleet and bring all our soldiers home... CO, NM, AZ, NV, CA, OR, WA, HI, Guam and American Samoa.
It wouldn't be that clean. More than likely all the rural areas of CA, CO, NM, and AZ revolt. CO is already a divided state with Denver and Boulder being hated by the rest of the state.
Agree to disagree... 4 years ago, I didn't think Trump would make it through a first term (not because of impeachment - I just didn't think he would take to it, because he didn't really want it) let alone run for reelection.
I could be wrong, but there are a lot of people on the left/democrats who are talking about Harris like she is already president. There is already an agenda that includes her as president.
