@Bey ah! Well, then I can agree with you on your terms. Your God declares humans as special.
@Bey But there ends the science, I suppose. Good talk. I understand the misunderstanding now.
Raise your hand if you've heard of the candle problem?
I think the devotion for trump is fueled by all of the illegal and unethical shit that the other side does to him. Speaking for myself. Like I don’t care how trump sounds on Twitter if he’s standing up to the people that illegally spy on him and utilize rioters to burn our cities down in order to hurt him politically.
@AdvanceManExtraordinaire, you just advanced to level 8!
Before he ran for President, when he did the Apprentice show and before, he was a sought after guest on Oprah’s show - they adored Trump asking him to tell his secrets of success. Photos of Trump with black leaders shaking hands and happy for his donations and support. The mainstream media turned Trump into a racist. NBC used to love him during the Apprentice run. On that show he gave equal deference to all; Muslims, Blacks, Whites, Male, Female, Hispanics, etc. They were all evaluated on their performance. No racism, no baitism, no xenophobia.
@Doc the American society, as well as virtually all other societies, have their laws that originate from religious laws, such as the ten commandments, for example.
@Bey well, most of your legal principles are actually Roman. Its why they have Latin names.
Romans were largely secular.
Matthew 25 :29
Really? So its moral to stone your mother to death if she wears a cotton tweed blend jacket? Or after eating a lobster?
Is it more to beat you slave so longs as they don't die the same day of the beating?
Do you also think sin is just another word for immoral? If so what is immoral about working on Sunday or having a tattoo that says "Love Mom-until she wore that damn jacket at Red Lobster, then I had to kill her"
The American legal system is based on the Judaeo Christian ethics. Ten Commandments and ethics of the Old Testament AND the royal law of love revealed in Christ (New Testament). All Biblical basis.
Marxist are atheist, they reject God, and their governance/ideology is based on nature. The problem is that God created everything in nature, so like it or not, God is in it.
so when did the 10 commandments become the 143 commandments? o wait that was biblical nevermind...
Why must we anthropomorphize a notion of god?
Asking for G's us?
umm did you're god rape a virgin? that might not be my "god"
Your looking for the perfect law? “But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.”
James 1:25 Bible
Every Christian with real knowledge of their sin nature and God’s remedy for it, knows they are blessed when they obey God’s law and suffer loss when they disobey
Oh come on... that is kinda a low blow. Christian faith never indicated that there was intercourse. This is why Mary was called a Virgin.
sin a situational
did she give her consent or not @JD~Jordan these are laws the court case could use...
You don’t have to. You are in a state that cannot allow yourself to do that. Slave to sin, so to speak. Tragic spot to be in. Only one way out my friend.
If mary is a virgin, that is proof that God is male. As the holy spirit is what impregnated Mary and contributed with a Y chromosome (since Jesus was male).
I was raised by godless communists please respect my upright.
As the holy spirit is a manifestation of God himself, that would make him male.
Miraculous = supernatural not just natural explanations.
is that what the bishop told you as an alterboy?
The manifest notion of god was used to explain the unexplainable.
@PrivateEye My bad. 😄
Gender is only an anthropomorphic analogy God uses to reach down to our level.
Well no not really... again there was never any intercourse. I know that its a ridiculous story. But even using your logic the alleged victim (Mary) testifies she has never had intercourse. As such no rape
@PrivateEye So humans are in Gods image, but their most striking bimodality is not?
weird.
Actually threw bag of marbles down the aisle at church when I was a kid. Embarrassed mom shouting, “is that Jesus?” When they did the procession down the same aisle.
Good thought
The bishop could not typically speak because his mouth was full of altar boy, demonstrating the resurrection.
Level of discourse increases every time I come back
Just here to say f lin wood
