Personally I disagree that the republican observers could see anything placed as they were with the news media...

2020-12-10 22:17:13 UTC

@William Dinan yes good point

2020-12-10 22:18:24 UTC

At that stage of the process, they are just there to witness the ballots being separated from envelopes and the scanned for eventual tabulation (which occurred at another location).

2020-12-10 22:19:00 UTC

Everyone call their AG offices and complain that Texas engaged in rampant voter suppression and it is somehow your business. Any claims will do. You can put them in hollow affidavits that won't ever be subject to conditions of perjury.

2020-12-10 22:19:44 UTC

The scanning happened in the same room but the room was curved so that the observers could not really observe them. Plus I think the idea of an observer was to make sure that the law was being followed, i.e., signature matching. How can you see that from 20' away???

2020-12-10 22:20:11 UTC

This legalizes GOP voter fraud in 2024. Good luck.

2020-12-10 22:20:59 UTC

Right, this has been a “How-to” for stealing an election. 😂

2020-12-10 22:23:11 UTC

> This legalizes GOP voter fraud in 2024. Good luck.
@AdvanceManExtraordinaire Nah. We'll have competent executives who have 4 years to fix it.

2020-12-10 22:24:11 UTC

GOP will never be as good at corruption of the voting process. The dems have been chipping at safeguards for years.

2020-12-10 22:24:26 UTC

Lol that is hilarious.

2020-12-10 22:25:10 UTC

What fraud? These are eligible voters that are casting in good faith ballots that they believe to be legally cast votes, because their elected officials (on both sides of the aisle in most cases and the state SC in the case of PA) told them that they were. If there was any provable fraud, they could bring those cases to the appropriate authorities and arrests would be rightfully made. Those active cases would be proof of fraud that law enforcement believed merited prosecution.

2020-12-10 22:25:35 UTC

Again, so much faith in humanity.

2020-12-10 22:26:46 UTC

We need term limits for all politicians.

2020-12-10 22:26:47 UTC

@Althea, you just advanced to level 2!

2020-12-10 22:26:53 UTC

Or... It has been a "How-to" in failing at an attempt to steal an election - which is way more likely given facts and circumstances.

2020-12-10 22:27:13 UTC

I hope someday I too can have that much faith that people are good and trustworthy.

2020-12-10 22:28:07 UTC

It's not faith... It's pragmatism. I look at this as a "What is a more likely narrative if I assume both sides were correct?" exercise in probability.

2020-12-10 22:29:35 UTC

The GOP was pretty effective at shutting down Ron Paul by falsely declaring he didn’t win Iowa and the newsletters. Never underestimate the GOP and their capacity for evil.

2020-12-10 22:30:20 UTC

Evil. Really....

2020-12-10 22:30:26 UTC

Once trump is out, the bill Kristols and Karl roves will move back in

2020-12-10 22:31:07 UTC

Yes. Joe Biden and his crime family are evil.

2020-12-10 22:31:32 UTC

To be fair, we have no way of knowing whether Trump suspected there would be fraud. So it's not right to blame him for sitting on his hands until after the fact.

But we can see the GOP scam a mile away and it will be stopped, just like the coup that is failing before our eyes.

2020-12-10 22:31:34 UTC

Tell me Karl rove doesn’t have the capacity to wheel in ballots overnight to cover a margin 😂

2020-12-10 22:32:09 UTC

Is the Glass Half Full or Half Empty? Or is it the Point of no Return? Depends on the original state of your measurement or your perspective?

2020-12-10 22:32:32 UTC

Unfortunately any research has to be done independently, because no one is accurately reporting on any of this, right or left alike. You even pointed that out about Roberts lasts show (which I noticed as well.)
When I look at the players involved and have seen the lengths they will go to paint this man to be the devil himself... Humans are inherently greedy, envious and deceitful. So the natural conclusion is that if it smells like a some shenanigans have gone down... I’m far more prone to expecting the worst in people, rather than presume people acted justly.

2020-12-10 22:32:38 UTC

Wait. Nvm. Trump might have mentioned it. My bad.

2020-12-10 22:32:50 UTC

How do we know this? Always heard Joe Biden and his son are very good folks?

2020-12-10 22:32:53 UTC

What scam? If the precedent is that you can’t disenfranchise good faith voters, the gop can literally do whatever they want to add votes in 2024.

2020-12-10 22:33:03 UTC

That’s not a scam, that’s playing within the rules

2020-12-10 22:33:34 UTC

There is no precedent. Secure election business as usual.

2020-12-10 22:33:41 UTC

Didn’t he mention it in both debates and every day on Twitter?

2020-12-10 22:33:41 UTC

It’s up to the dems to play within the rules and prevent the non human gop votes from being added beforehand

2020-12-10 22:33:54 UTC

Correct me if I’m wrong, @Zuluzeit

2020-12-10 22:34:00 UTC

Seriously? Joe flies his son over to China on Air Force 2 and introduces him around and Hunter walks away with millions...

2020-12-10 22:34:02 UTC

The precedent is being created right now

2020-12-10 22:34:09 UTC

No one prevented GOP votes. Is that the next claim?

2020-12-10 22:34:15 UTC

Lordy

2020-12-10 22:34:20 UTC

Joe is in charge of Ukraine, his son walks away with millions.

2020-12-10 22:34:23 UTC

Here was my stab at breakdown the process required from each perspective. I was trying to be as brief as possible, but I think you can get where I was going with it: https://discordapp.com/channels/760945067107680286/771201221145919499/784832307219136612
