@Dedkraken I've been thinking that for a while. Poison and test the waters. Poison and test the waters. Poison and test the waters.

Wisconsin State Legislature Election Hearing - You get a headache trying to remember all the rules and regulations relating on how we are to run these ballots.... We need technology! AI robots to run elections who can actually retain all rules.

I am now of the opinion that Trump secretly wants the Republicans to lose the Senate

Damn, sorry Mr. Marx I didn't know that was your place for procuring vittles. I heard one can squeeze all kinds of unintended functionality from the massive candy canes. just saying

@TaLoN132 I took a look. You need to take account that in order to win they need to put votes in quickly and in sufficient quantity. this would only realistically be possible at a couple of places for the reasons you suggested. However, most of the witness testimonies come from people in the main cities in the key states, which the democrats overwhelmingly control. These same cities don't have a fantastic record in terms of corruption. Specifically Detroit and Philadelphia. You have to consider how well biden performed in those cities relative to other cities and compared with other popular candidates like obama. Also by all accounts the amount of verification of the ballots was somewhat relaxed by recent changes in the law. At the same time several times more people voted by mail-in ballots, which people tend to consider the most susceptible to fraud.

Urban Dictionary submission: "Quit being such a Trump!" - used as a pejorative to point out when an opponent or rival is whining incessantly about being treated unfairly (when they obviously have not been) especially during a contest with established rules and referees/umpires, but refuses to let the issue/call go - even though the instant replay, evidence, or general consensus proves they are in the wrong - and will not allow play to continue, leave the field of play, and/or threatens to take his ball and go home.

@busillis Count me out. Rather starve...or just exploit my neighbors.

@nainani Write it down if you can't remember, silly.

2020-12-11 21:22:09 UTC

I mean how it is being counted

2020-12-11 21:22:39 UTC

Lol ok. They should have receipts.

2020-12-11 21:24:33 UTC

They don't count it upon receiving my ballot, so how do I know it went in, wasn't thrown away, a receipt would not show this.

2020-12-11 21:27:20 UTC

I did vote a day before election, I guess I am thinking of a system that you could sign in to and check that your vote was counted and how it was counted. Both of my grandfathers were registered to vote this year and have been deceased for over 5 years. Signing into registration websites does not show who you voted for. I'd like to know besides the fact that I am registered to vote, that my vote was counted, congruently that my grandpa's did not have a vote using their names

2020-12-11 21:29:54 UTC

If we could all see that our votes were counted, wouldn't election integrity be hard to dispute?

2020-12-11 21:31:50 UTC

Thank you for the feedback. Here are my thoughts:

Well... It's not like Trump went looking for witnesses in other locations, they specifically targeted those areas - if you look at the affidavits, they are all given well after the date the race was called for Biden. None are dated the election night.

Comparisons to Obama vote counts are irrelevant. The stakes were higher for those on the left. They became complacent in 2016 and many did not vote, because they were certain Clinton would win in a landslide. Too many factors can account for the vote total differences.

When you say "by all accounts" that usually implies unanimity. Even so, that assertion is arguably false. With the mandate for paper ballots and risk limiting audits, this election has had more scrutiny than any election in history and would have regardless of allegations of fraud. Those things were baked into the process.

Mail-in ballots are not considered to be susceptible to wide-spread fraud. People forget that (absent inside bad actors that could inject fake data/ballots into the system (which would be no more or less secure than in-person voting in that case) mail-in voting requires access to the mailbox that the ballot is sent to. In CA, ballots are sent to the registered voters address of record. But even if someone created a fake registration, rented a mailbox/apt (which they have to provide ID for), and requested a mail-in ballot to that address - they are still providing a paper trail that any decent investigator could use to find them and arrest them for committing 3 felonies (identity theft, mail fraud and voter fraud) - per infraction. There is a diminishing risk/reward calculation that even the densest criminal could figure out.

2020-12-11 21:31:54 UTC

ehh it wouldnt solve everything

2020-12-11 21:35:48 UTC

I mean if you vote on a paper ballot and you think the local citizens working there intentionally threw your vote away when they are passionate about the election system then theres no such thing as a safe vote 🤷

2020-12-11 21:36:38 UTC

Every system must attribute some level of trust to administrators of the system

2020-12-11 21:36:54 UTC

We've been talking about a possible mechanism for allowing a voter to check that their ballot tabulated as cast - while protecting their anonymity. Basically, you can be given a ballot ID and request from home to see that it was tabulated and how. Someone with access to the vote data would not be able to associate that ballot with you, though, which is important.
