Nothing highlighted in red indicated anything illegal. To assert otherwise is ridiculous. You are talking about a conversation between Biden and a person who obviously has a limited English language skills. These were leaked before the Senate Johnson Grassley report that came out in September. If there was anything damning in them, it would have been front and center in that report.
I used SolarWinds in mine and other client networks for network monitoring. I used to use a product by a small Texas upstart called Capzure that got bought by Solarwinds a few years ago. Shortly after they bought Capzure out, SolarWinds themselves were bought out by a Chinese holding company and I cut all ties with the software which became terrible as it was rebranded to SolarWinds MSP.
China owns SolarWinds. The "hack" was not a hack, it was infact intentionally baked into their software suite.
@busillis#0807 yep, I was pissed as the Capzure MSP software was solid. I used to speak to the founder and co-founder on the phone. Great people and receptive to ideas and criticism.
Once SolarWinds bought it, things went downhill fast. Even working features were broke overnight and took months to fix.
The acquisition by private equity technology investment firms Silver Lake Partners and Thoma Bravo, LLC. was announced in late 2015, and by January 2016, SolarWinds was taken private in a $4.5 billion deal.
