@Phil if you want my comments on cuomo i will go ahead and do so.
@SANCTIONED well i dont think trump, or any of the world leaders did it with bad faith - they probably believed wrongly that it would help
Thats not the point dude. you are tottaly missing it. infact i would agreee and say he did the right thing by not letting the cruise ships here.
@SANCTIONED what other dictator things you think he did then?
> Compromise is the solution.
@Desertdove I'd be interested to hear what that should entail. Ok go.
Killing your own citizens is pretty dictatory
which people he killed?
phil. the point being made he's already dictatorial things by isolating corona patients at the start. so at that point if he has already engaged in such activity he could have wielded it better without taking away civil liberties.
Extra judicial killing of the Iran General or whatever he was.
The ones he infected with covid
which person died as a result of him giving them covid?
I think Governors can also share responsibility
he means policies. phil is getting technical now.
It's not called the Trumpvirus for nothing. Js.
Which governors supported herd immunity and intentional spread of the virus?
Again, you don't want to die on this hill. You understand herd immunity also means vaccines yes?
It doesn't mean sitting next to each other coughing on one another.
None that i know of, but some governors could have done better. like not sending corona patients to care homes (NYC) and cuomo really messed around with PPE manufacturers while trump was doing his circus act in the white house.
I need @SoonMrWick to show me how to make gifs. Nearly everything everyone says could warrant one.
Real doctors use vaccines to create herd immunity. Fake doctors spread a pandemic and kill off the populace to try and save the rest through mass murder. The former is a good thing. The latter is evil.
as per recent emails it's evident the policy of the white house was herd immunity before any vaccinations were introduced.
There is a thing called selective protection, which is a valid form of attempting to protect vulnerable people from the virus while allowing regular people to move on with their lives. This is eventually going to be the solution as well with added support for the vaccine which will take a very, very long time.
each time they can just send you a new virus and bingo all social distance and lock down again
do you want to live waiting for a vaccine your entire life?
There was no vaccines though they just increased covid spread and deaths. That's why we did so poorly vs countries that tried to reduce the pandemic.
I wonder how many vaccines there are. Seems like it would be a lot.
I don't think anyone advocated for covid parties, my dude. Maybe 1 or 2 governors at most.
1 is more than enough.
every country has had massive deaths, and each has tried some similar and some different ways around it. but you cannot stop people from spreading it unless you put everyone in a cage
Not a lot yet. It's going to take another year to maybe vaccinate 30-50% of the population, and you have to remember we don't know enough about how long the immunity is going to last, and we'll at least need 2 vaccines per person.
and not to forget trumps maskless rallys
They discouraged mask use. Encouraged social gatherings. Opposed the CDC and called them names and undermined them. Mocked people following the science and buried science. Fought to open schools lying about kids not getting sick. Downplayed the effect and spread of the virus.
Rose Garden Massacre was a good one.
As the BLM protests showed, outdoor rallies didn't promote much spread due to being outside.
And that science was actually intriguing.
But they did. cell phone data showed correlation.
I meant vaccines for different diseases...and how many of those diseases are no longer a problem.
I don't know about that, they did a study about it.
Those diseases aren't covid, covid is kinda a special case.
