@DeathRhodes666 that’s every year. We can deal with cutting down war expenses after the pandemic. Now is not the time to be stingy with the budget. Especially how fast and loose we have been over the past several decades. Next year pull back troop.
after the pandemic?
When you're talking about the kinds of people that usually get their doors kicked in? Much higher a %.
@Maw. And the amount of No Knock Warrants performed each Year?
Almost all for marijuana.
no knock warrant is a misleading name. It should be called "one knock warrant"
@james j We are close to reaching the point where taxpayers are just going to be paying nothing but interest on the debt.
Without significant tax hikes.
Which corporations will not be even close to able to cover.
I look forward to tax hikes. It’s either now or later
James.
We're almost at a point where we can't spend on anything but interest.
Do you understand how bad that is?
This is inevitable
Stimulus or not
No it's not inevitable.
Total healthcare expenses have surpassed war expenses since 2015 or 2016. Well, specifically the budget for all healthcare programs. Idk how "fast and loose" the government has been over the past several decades, but I do know the past 10 years has been horrible, except for the booming economy, peace deals, and troop withdrawal of the past 2 trump years. We really wouldn't have to be stingy with the budget if Federal Government wasn't left unchecked and ignorantly supported by voters (myslef included when I first voted fro Obama).
I don't understand this idea of "Well it's inevitable, let's just bankrupt ourselves!"
@DeathRhodes666 yeah that’s the issue with not having m4a. You start with a population of people that get regular check ups and catch issues early and are mindful of their health most of these health costs later on get much much cheaper. No 1 cause of death is heart disease. Which is preventable
just trading short-term gain for long-term pain ... much like the "lockdowns" themselves
@Maw my point is now is not the time to worry about that. That’s something people can take seriously post pandemic
My dude, we're teetering on the point of a downward spiral to bankruptcy, right now is the perfect time to think about that.\
No Knock vs Quick Knock is the Term used in Research and Enforcement/Judicial Settings in the US.
@meglide a once in a 100 year pandemic should be something we should have been prepared for.
@Maw If you want the logic behind dark projections, Im sure you can think of someone. 😄
... no james, no.
it can pushed out into the future but death is ultimately not preventable ... heart disease and cancer are the two top killers ... my 82 mother's heart is failing her, it's just wearing out, when she dies they'll list it as heart disease
If people just behaved like the Swedes we would be in a better place economically
??!??!??!
@Maw, you just advanced to level 36!
Unfortunately Americans are like children when it come to simple requests
Didn't you hate how Sweden reacted to Covid?
