lol

I don't know I think that if you have someone who's an attorney or a so-called expert that's telling you something that people are conditioned to believe them.

2020-12-30 23:26:15 UTC

You don't go to your physician and my second guess a diagnosis or an attorney in second guess their strategy.

2020-12-30 23:26:28 UTC

But that's what they're doing they're putting these people out here is so-called experts and they're just totally misrepresenting and lying.

2020-12-30 23:26:49 UTC

Maybe there is a component of willfulness.

2020-12-30 23:27:10 UTC

This is why doctors and lawyers have ethics rules.

2020-12-30 23:27:11 UTC

@JD~Jordan And Trump doesn't have to worry about Rudy suing him for the money... He's seen his recent court performances.

2020-12-30 23:27:13 UTC

Idk... Still it doesn't make the perpetrators any less culpable.

2020-12-30 23:27:15 UTC

Very strict ones usually.

2020-12-30 23:27:17 UTC

Yeah... but a particular set of letters behind your name does not mean you are incapable of missing your own set of biases

2020-12-30 23:27:24 UTC

For lawyers it's the BAR.

2020-12-30 23:27:31 UTC

What happened to that...

2020-12-30 23:27:41 UTC

Last I checked Rudy's still up attorney.

2020-12-30 23:27:42 UTC

The BAR? Oh, it's still very relevant.

2020-12-30 23:28:01 UTC

And so are those other attorneys...

2020-12-30 23:28:15 UTC

They're not supposed to be lying to people. And you can't convince me that they believe this b*******.

2020-12-30 23:28:32 UTC

There is no way.

2020-12-30 23:28:39 UTC

Each state has a Board of Professional Responsibility.... they typically are the association that issues law licenses and can censor, suspend or even disbar an attorney

2020-12-30 23:29:07 UTC

But what about the morality of just trying to do the right thing... This isn't a minor mix up.

2020-12-30 23:29:11 UTC

There is a Federal Bar... but I honestly dont know much about it. Generally speaking if you are licensed to practice in a state you can practice in a federal court as well

2020-12-30 23:29:23 UTC

Or a case of something being misspoken.

2020-12-30 23:29:38 UTC

You're usually allowed in most cases, rather.

2020-12-30 23:29:48 UTC

But you do have to ask for permission via motion IIRC.

2020-12-30 23:29:51 UTC

Or are we talking about drinks?

2020-12-30 23:29:54 UTC

I think you can get permission from federal courts to practice law in the court.

2020-12-30 23:30:06 UTC

Only for specific cases.

2020-12-30 23:30:16 UTC

Even if you pass the bar in a state you still have to be approved by the federal court to appear.

2020-12-30 23:30:28 UTC

I think

2020-12-30 23:31:01 UTC

I guess what I am saying or asking is that I dont believe there is a special law licenses for the federal system. You have to be licensed in a state and then file a request with the federal court in which you wish to bring a case

2020-12-30 23:31:09 UTC

or appear

2020-12-30 23:31:33 UTC

Exactly no different license required.

2020-12-30 23:31:33 UTC

I prefer my bars to be smooth, so I can slide drinks to the end without spilling...

2020-12-30 23:31:52 UTC

But you're still supposed to be ethical.

2020-12-30 23:32:49 UTC

There was some issues about Rudy being able to practice in front of certain circuit courts and needing an assist... So, it probably depends on the court.

2020-12-30 23:32:50 UTC

Im not sure honestly. I know that a younger lawyer that worked in my dad's firm had no problem appearing in a federal case. Just filed a motion and attached a copy of his State Lic

2020-12-30 23:32:50 UTC

General Lee speaking in society people are supposed to be honest and ethical.

2020-12-30 23:32:56 UTC

What you do outside of the courtroom usually isn't in the bar's scope, but there are exceptions.

2020-12-30 23:33:06 UTC

E.g: Attorney-client relationships.

2020-12-30 23:33:25 UTC

Getting all Confederate on us now???

2020-12-30 23:34:25 UTC

Right... now with States is for sure different. Like a lawyer licensed in TN cannot practice in say Georgia without a motion filed with the court and generally an attorney that is licensed in GA to agree to be "co counsel" if only in the very basic sense
