If you actually did sign such an affidavit, *that* would be evidence (but not proof). So far I've seen no evidence.

I think we've stumbled onto why Trump lost the election. He thought that Fox was a right wing news media company and gave endless interviews to F&F, Hannity, MB, et al... He blew it. That wasn't his target audience. It all makes sense now.

2021-01-01 05:02:41 UTC

Trump isn't very conservative. His conservatism pretty much ends at the bottom line of a ledger. He was pro-LGBT marriage before either party. If he were truly conservative he would oppose the existence of marriage licenses because government should never license religious sacrements.

When Fauci told him about the impending pandemic, he didn't like it, but accepted the advice and acted. And didn't fire Fauci.

@Philip R Are you sure that's the test you want? Just double checking. (Your arguments are about to become problematic.)

2021-01-01 05:03:38 UTC

we're talking election now

2021-01-01 05:04:01 UTC

I rarely read a fact check that is not a pseudo-reasoned substrate for a lie.

2021-01-01 05:04:12 UTC

Weak, white-glove.

2021-01-01 05:04:33 UTC

I'm not sure how that follows. Are you suggesting that it describing HuffPost as centre left when it's really left means that describing Fox as centre-right means that it's really right? But rather than list sources are closer to the centre than they really are, perhaps they are showing them further to the right than they really are?

2021-01-01 05:05:08 UTC

you mean Trump?

2021-01-01 05:05:18 UTC

I didn't propose a test.

2021-01-01 05:05:43 UTC

We were talking about Trump only listening to sources he agreed with.

2021-01-01 05:06:03 UTC

There are conservative LGBT that vote Republican. Myopic worldviews are tiresome and trite

2021-01-01 05:06:24 UTC

Irrelevant to what I stated.

2021-01-01 05:06:52 UTC

Is there a term for next level gaslight? I submit 'gasnova' for consideration.

2021-01-01 05:07:19 UTC

You suggesting this says Fox news is center right is the equivalent (distance from median viewer) that huffpo would be 'center left' by your own definition.

2021-01-01 05:07:35 UTC

I stated Trump was supporting LGBT marriage licenses before either party. And that government marriage licenses, regardless of for whom they are targeted, are not a genuine conservative position.

2021-01-01 05:08:17 UTC

Sounds like you're the RINO in this case, because I'm pretty sure most conservatives support that.

2021-01-01 05:08:19 UTC

No, I was simply pointing out that your supportive evidence said something a bit different to what you claimed.

2021-01-01 05:08:19 UTC

@Philip R, you just advanced to level 6!

2021-01-01 05:08:41 UTC

RINO, or CINO?

2021-01-01 05:08:47 UTC

yep, that's pretty much what he is doing ... you tell him what he wants to hear and he listens, you tell something he doesn't want to hear and he doesn't ... irrelevant to him whether content is true or false, what he wants to believe is true, what he doesn't is false as per his definition

2021-01-01 05:09:03 UTC

Moderates are currently out of the fog

2021-01-01 05:09:22 UTC

The problem is that I gave an example disagreeing with that claim.

2021-01-01 05:09:25 UTC

Most corporatists, but not most conservatives. Most conservatives support that the 1st Amendment requires government neither practice religion nor suppress it.

2021-01-01 05:09:34 UTC

Not at all? Unless you're suggesting Huffpo is center-left of course.

2021-01-01 05:09:41 UTC

Believe me, you wouldn't want to make that mistake.

2021-01-01 05:10:20 UTC

I said "a bit different", not "completely different". And I've already addressed the HuffPost claim.

2021-01-01 05:11:07 UTC

But is marriage purely a "religious" matter?

2021-01-01 05:11:11 UTC

well actually your example is weak and we're talking election now ... Trump did stop listening to Fauci months ago and even hired someone who held views that Trump wanted to represent the White House view ...

2021-01-01 05:11:11 UTC

Yes, but the argument is categorizing and black box labeling when the vast population is especially diverse only narrowed and funneled into dichotomies

2021-01-01 05:11:20 UTC

> I didn't propose a test.
@Philip R Of course you wouldn't. You get to continue selecting what is evidence based in whether something is convenient to your position. Twice that I've noticed, although I haven't been paying strict attention.

2021-01-01 05:11:48 UTC

Yes, marriage is a sacrament of faith. Sex is a biochemical social activity. The latter does not require the former.

2021-01-01 05:11:57 UTC

So you're claiming that Trump used to be open to opposing views, but no longer is?

2021-01-01 05:12:24 UTC

Government may not enforce religion...big difference

2021-01-01 05:12:36 UTC

All words are categorizing. Without categorizing there are no words.

2021-01-01 05:12:43 UTC

Marriage is a way that we were designed to operate. Just like sex.

2021-01-01 05:12:48 UTC

Trump clips naysayers as a matter of routine. This is not news.

2021-01-01 05:12:48 UTC

@Zuluzeit, you just advanced to level 38!

2021-01-01 05:13:01 UTC

Trump has never been open to opposing views ... it's always been his way or the highway

2021-01-01 05:13:07 UTC

Trump never doubles down.
