I don't think there is adequate proof of wide-scale voter fraud at the moment.

2020-11-08 06:06:27 UTC

We can safely assume there is going to be fraud in every election.

2020-11-08 06:06:34 UTC

To what level is the ultimate question.

2020-11-08 06:07:14 UTC

And I don't think standard citizens will be able to sue the states if there are no injured parties.

2020-11-08 06:07:32 UTC

And the burden of proof will be enormous.

2020-11-08 06:09:39 UTC

Like, if you know for a fact your ballot was improperly unsealed and whatnot, then I think you'd have standing to sue the government, otherwise I don't think you do. I could be wrong, I'm not an attorney, I just watch a lot of legal stuff and have a few paralegal friends in real life.

2020-11-08 06:09:55 UTC

But I know standing is very, very important.

2020-11-08 06:13:02 UTC

https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/standing You can read about what standing is here.

2020-11-08 06:41:36 UTC

We all know standing is important.

2020-11-08 07:13:45 UTC

> I'm not saying don't do investigations.
@Maw It won't stop the country from running. DJ Trump is still running the show until January

2020-11-08 07:40:16 UTC

Yes and ideally he will think he has a chance until 01/20/21. That way he won't be able to run around spitefully pulling lynch pins during a 2-month tantrum.

2020-11-08 08:47:23 UTC

I always think it’s telling when people believe that Trump is actually a moron who engages in public tantrums. Like I expect them to follow it up with an explanation of how The Rock won Monday Night Raw after being betrayed by Vince McMahon đŸ˜‚

2020-11-08 10:29:59 UTC

@Gypsy Maybe they see his cerebellar gait, analyse his vocabulary and deduce from there?

2020-11-08 13:05:33 UTC

Is it odd that after certain states passed laws expanding emergency powers that Walmart starts setting up Pickup services 6 months ahead of COVID and starts ordering groceries online just as isolated cases appear in the US.

2020-11-08 13:54:03 UTC

If standing was so import, judges wouldn't sit on chairs.

2020-11-08 16:48:48 UTC

@Gypsy_Warlord @Doc You can pretend he doesn't display, unapologetically, public tantrums nearly daily (litany of petty schoolgirl twitter rants notwithstanding.) It's not inconceivable that losing the election could trigger such a person more than criticism from Rosie O'Donnell would. It's not coming out of nowhere and blind denial doesn't invalidate anything.

Parse that how you wish. You're being disingenuous.

2020-11-08 16:50:26 UTC

Tf are you saying?

2020-11-08 16:51:21 UTC

Every prediction I've mad about Trump came true. What are you predicting?

2020-11-08 17:25:41 UTC

I'm saying his vindictive nature is obvious and undeniable and when coupled with his penchant for whimsical executive orders and policy moods, the Supreme Court could end up playing whack-a-mole with his outbursts during a time of already significant turmoil. I'm also saying you can, of course, disagree but pretending you have no idea at all from whence this concern is coming is plainly disingenuous on its face.

2020-11-08 18:07:05 UTC

And so it begins...Trump is already talking about firing a bunch of people who were apparently acceptable to help run the country until he got angry. But yeah, no basis for indicating he has a spiteful nature. Thanks for the guidance, guys.

2020-11-08 18:10:27 UTC

@Zuluzeit that would be very frustrating and annoying if trump does something like that. Who is he thinking of firing? Link?

2020-11-08 18:12:04 UTC

I don't know how to post links. Hang on. Let me go listen again.

2020-11-08 18:16:10 UTC
2020-11-08 18:17:21 UTC

That was easier than I thought. The part about his remaining time starts at around 5:10. I had already thought this stuff since I posted last night.

2020-11-08 19:29:18 UTC

Why the hell do we require ID to get on an airplane but not to vote?

2020-11-08 20:20:16 UTC

Because airplanes are dangerous and politicans are not... Also IDs can be held by non-citizen. It's all a big mess, you would almost think it was intentional

2020-11-08 21:17:25 UTC

@Zuluzeit Just out of curiosity, where do you have me categorized?

2020-11-08 21:27:05 UTC

@Doc Gatekeeper - Arbiter of Qualification

2020-11-08 21:29:26 UTC

We see a lot of that on the left and very rarely on the right, which makes you somewhat of an anomaly.

2020-11-08 22:51:00 UTC

@Zuluzeit I am neither

2020-11-08 23:16:19 UTC

I have no gate to keep except my own.

2020-11-08 23:17:09 UTC

I am never normative, I am entertained. I am the last humanist. A fan of man.

2020-11-09 00:37:16 UTC

@Doc I mean if you are trying to be funny to each his own. But if you honestly think Donald Trump is a moron it says more about your ability to assess other people than it does about President Trump.

2020-11-09 00:39:40 UTC

@Zuluzeit You are the one being disingenuous. Donald Trump is calculating, that’s how he became the president without GOP establishment support. You are confusing you’re dislike for him with maladaptive traits so that you can feel morally superior to him. That’s disingenuous.

2020-11-09 03:18:20 UTC

If only he was calculating enough to stay off of twitter.

2020-11-09 03:18:40 UTC

He'd probably have won.

2020-11-09 03:21:14 UTC

But regardless, please, folks -- be calm and civil.

2020-11-09 03:21:26 UTC

We can disagree but remain civil with one another.

2020-11-09 03:25:38 UTC

Remember, disliking any particular candidate isn't an attack on you or your person.

2020-11-09 08:34:14 UTC

@Gypsy I am not sure what constitutes a moron. It is a word I only use in traffic. I know, however, what constitutes cerebellar atrophy.

2020-11-09 08:35:43 UTC

In general, I am payed decently to assess other people, so if I am bad at that - This is really bad news for me, as I will now have to expect apprehension.
