...open up a full time news channel. My understanding is Fox is hemorrhaging market share. Lol

2020-11-17 02:27:48 UTC

fox flip quick

2020-11-17 02:27:49 UTC

Things are hot right now, we'll see how it continues. May lose a lot if things turn one way or another.

2020-11-17 02:28:28 UTC

I don't think Fox is in any danger. Just going by hysterical lashing out posts elsewhere.

2020-11-17 02:28:30 UTC

Fox has been sliding to the Left at crucial moments. You can't really keep the Blue from coming out when your employee base is in NYC.

2020-11-17 02:28:32 UTC

things where good right before covid

2020-11-17 02:29:00 UTC

Yea just keep with what you enjoy and it will all turn out as it should. In the meanwhile i has a new favorit channel... Well played...

2020-11-17 02:29:07 UTC

funny how many new right new just poped up

2020-11-17 02:29:08 UTC

Yeah, I still wonder if covid was a convenient accident for the Left.

2020-11-17 02:29:08 UTC

It's great for the channel though, as these things tend to be. Large cases or 'political superbowls' are always going to bring increased traffic.

2020-11-17 02:29:33 UTC

Its speculation, but I have a great deal of mistrust with certain factions in the world.

2020-11-17 02:29:55 UTC

Yea definitely, it has been growing so quickly. Wild!

2020-11-17 02:30:00 UTC

some big players are not happy

2020-11-17 02:30:31 UTC

with trump

2020-11-17 02:30:58 UTC

Yeah, I really should not have spiked their hot chocolate with that much exlax. But they will be fine once those big players get out of the infirmary. 😉

2020-11-17 02:30:59 UTC

Thanks @Shitty Kitty I'll do my best to stay true and not worry too much about catering to any one audience.

2020-11-17 02:31:09 UTC

just want to say thanks to guys on what your doing

2020-11-17 02:31:19 UTC

I think the success of the channel is because you give a middle of the ground perspective and don't shame anyone for a different opinion other than your own.

2020-11-17 02:31:26 UTC

As you should in my opinion! It's 'watching the watchers' after all!

2020-11-17 02:31:53 UTC

And both sides need watching.

2020-11-17 02:31:55 UTC

@RobertGrulerEsq That is one of the reasons your show is good. You are effective at steel manning.

2020-11-17 02:32:00 UTC

i was more impressed with your take on az law

2020-11-17 02:32:09 UTC

Thanks @Theresa

2020-11-17 02:33:05 UTC

@Whithers I'm looking up that term now, thanks, I think 😆

2020-11-17 02:33:09 UTC

That your personal position slips every now and again helps too. Makes you genuine and demonstrates your effort to be fair.

2020-11-17 02:33:18 UTC

yea Amusing huh Az he has a good grip on stuff there. If you ever visit there and get in trouble umm look him up...

2020-11-17 02:33:23 UTC

I loved when you told the one commenter that you want to talk about these things because we're being told not to and then said you are welcome to hit a thumbs down. Excellent way to handle that.

2020-11-17 02:33:28 UTC

Calling out both sides is what all the independents and moderates want to see, in my opinion anyway.

2020-11-17 02:33:42 UTC

It appears to me as more nuanced than simple middle ground. It's bothering to articulate an opposing argument faithfully.

2020-11-17 02:33:55 UTC

Steel Manning is the opposite of straw manning. The taking of the othersides position to argue it accurately as good as possible - perhaps even better than they do.

2020-11-17 02:33:57 UTC

Agreed, not bad-faith strawmanning.

2020-11-17 02:34:13 UTC

I've never heard of that term, I like it!

2020-11-17 02:34:39 UTC

hard job i hear people talk about not reading post on pod cast but you go and start a pod cast that is reading the chat crazy

2020-11-17 02:34:42 UTC

Some people invent the opposing argument or don't bother at all because it upsets people.

2020-11-17 02:35:09 UTC

I learned the term from Eric Weinstein.

2020-11-17 02:35:42 UTC

@Maw Yes. I think the silent majority in the US are the moderates who want to hear the true story rather than the obviously biased opinions of the media on both sides.

2020-11-17 02:35:44 UTC

Steel man is a lot harder than straw man. You have to know for sure you're right, if you have a set conclusion.

2020-11-17 02:35:48 UTC

Ahh thats some darkweb stuff there

2020-11-17 02:35:54 UTC

people should get upset time to time its good for you

2020-11-17 02:36:28 UTC

I learned steel man in college but they didn't call it that at that time.

2020-11-17 02:36:41 UTC

I have been corporate censored by face book and Twitter. And so i looked for alternative. It is great to be able to interact with someone knowledgeable on a subject
