Oh, I dont think so. But I remember a bad pile up one year.
I almost died so many times on the I-5
Horrible highway
Sloat is East of Quincy and West of Portola. In the Plumas National Forest area.
I usually glaze over somewhere between Sacramento and El BaƱo. It's a blur.
The 152.... Driven it many times.
Well if you get lost in the woods NW of Reno you might find my cousins.
Ever make the drive from SoCal to Big Sur?
Haha
Along the coast...
Yup
Best drive in the country
Not by the name Big Sur. But I have gone from Compton to Newark in a 5 day turnaround.
Air freight flies on 18 wheels.
Have driven up 101/PCH many times. Used to stop in Carmel and Monterey. Lived in San Jose as a teenager. Used to drive to Santa Cruz to hang at the boardwalk all the time.
Who was the mayor of Carmel? Some actor.
Comin out of SanDiego, this one young driver piped up asking what was the best way to go straight from there to NY City. An older driver said dryly: "I always found an 8 ball did it for me."
Talk about an awful freeway, the 17 had its own dead mans curve on the way to Santa Cruz.
Hahaha
Yes!
Clint
Lol
@Benny2Toes, you just advanced to level 8!
Yall from CA are so lucky with all those beaches. Sound like you got to get on some dangerous interstates
Especially if you get stuck on one when the fire comes.
Not fun at all
I am not from there, my daddy was. He was born a week after his dad died. Grandma moved back to Missouri. I is Show Me born, and Mule headed.
Lol
I grew up eating canned front yard. Dandelion, plantain, chicory, mustard, dock, curleyfew, poke, etc.
TX has a great HW system. Now if you drive in Mexico south of TX are scary. Especially when you drive up the mountains and you see all these crosses at the bottom of all the curves. Barely enough space to drive 2 compact cars and there are huge buses constantly passing each other. I should have taken. I think I'm going to take Xanax next time like my friends do
I was on my way to Simi Valley once and came over a hill on this little shortcut road in the hills. Right in the middle of the big fire in like 2010, no one around for miles. No help if the car breaks down. Black sky, fire all around. Scary as shit.
I need to visit CA. Such a gorgeous place
Hey! I have been in Texas. Stationed at GFAFB. You can't tell where the highways are. It's all just flat.
Haha
No place to hide inTX
You know armadillo females can fertilize themselves for up to 7 years on just one date?
That is why you see so many dead armadillos on the road. Once the males find out that is all they get for 7 years they run out and jump in front of a truck.
And all those kids. Hell yeah. I will take the truck.
South TX flat Houston flat. San Antonio and Austin hilly. Sorry about to hear about your cards daddy. Life, love and pain
@Buzzweiser, you just advanced to level 1!
