I would argue that it doesn’t matter what you say, if you enter the public arena to comment, even to comment on the commentary like we are doing here (meta-comment?), you’re exposed to misinterpretation, whether you are meticulously self-editing, or flippantly posting stream-of-consciousness with no filter.
