OH wait I'm not in vc general
I'm dumb
Yo why my socialist coworker act like a petulant child
Yo we got another Calvinist in here?
Sweet
Wtf is a Calvinist
Someone who agrees with the theology of John Calvin
Look up the TULIP acronym
That's a summary of his theology
Yup
Just become Eastern Orthodox. <:pepeclassy:728847767409262642>
Epic
Since 33 AD, baby.
Sorry, I believe in a religion that makes sense
My coworker is so socialist and cringe
He wants to go and start a commune
Good fucking luck
Lol
I do, too.
At the end of the day though, its all just banter. Perhaps I went a bit too far, but we are both brothers in Christ
Trying to re-string my rosary, and goodness gracious is it hard to tie those really asthetic looking knots
Get a prayer rope.
They're pretty neato.
Mine hasn't had any issues with its yarn coming undone.
Idk how old your rosary is.
calvinism is the only way.
@RykerGrove No thank you.
@Indra π¦
I can't be a Calvinist.
ratio this post
> Idk how old your rosary is.
@Indra its basically brand new because I made the cross out of clay and painted all the wooden beads, but I suck at tying the cool looking knots I see on a bunch of rosaries
I gotta scenario for you guys
I've been working on my local Republican's campaign for the past few months/canvassing/door knocking but he supports DREAMers and he brags about it. When ppl complained, he doubled down. I'm getting a letter of recommendation out of all this but I honestly don't like him after all this time I put in. Should we support GOP candidates even when they cuck like this?
Sorry for big text
@AaronCummings Id say given the situation, yes. We have to get as many repubs in office as possible this time, cuckservatives wont fuck things up, but they also wont fix anything whereas dems will try to fuck things up(from our perspectives), any other year id say no but this time we got too much at stake.
But in literally ANY OTHER SITUATION I would say no we shouldnt
@AaronCummings He could just be saying that to try to reach out to some moderates tho
The GOP is a simple apparatus, a tool we can utilize. We shouldn't centre our lives and political aspirations around the GOP, but being involved politically is a massive benefit. Trying to co-opt a significant portion of the system can't hurt either, but make sure the system doesnt change you.
Otherwise, moving up the ladder and gaining political and financial capital, is a good thing. We need more people on the inside in this manner.
That's basically how I feel too. And if he wins, I get an extra boost on my resume for working with a winning candidate. So, I know I gotta hold back but I agree it's better than a Dem
