we all know denuvo is crap
<:blobhyperthink:427568506905559040> Had a problem with one Linux computer always stalling at "A STOP JOB IS RUNNING" upon reboot.
StackExchange post said "do a `$ shutdown now` and then a `$ reboot`, that'll fix it".
Sure enough... the "A STOP JOB IS RUNNING" notification went away.
Denuvo's CPU impact was far bigger than 7% on Monster Hunter Worlds
But it still stalls for the same amount of time.
if you actually thjink about it, this is a problem of capitalism
developers and publishers are forced to make as much profit as possible for shareholders
if they think a DRM is gonna do it, they will use it
gotta answer to shareholders on what steps they're taking to combat lost sales when people pirate games
taking action than doing nothing is what shareholders like
AAA was a mistake
Releasing a demo would probably get them far more sales than adding denuvo
On an unrelated note >no special opening in JoJo
<:blobconfounded:427568418107949090>
Isn't this week a recap episode?
Yeah
I at least hoped they would spice up the opening a little bit or something
>being a jojo fag
Lol AAA wasn't the mistake, you were
>hating JoJo
At least be creative about it 😏
So I just had to re-install Windows after installing Grub2Win, the firmware refusing to recognize its EFI file regardless of settings, and totally breaking my boot files trying to correct the issue from command file.
Fun
Who here would hate on JoJo by the way? It's good clean comic book fun.
@Phatique denuvos core design is to appeal to publishers by holding off cracks for a couple days during peak sales season
it's also commissioned by EA so I don't really have to say much more
and for the most part denuvo does its intended purpose and still isn't cracked in many new release titles
I feel my boomer level increasing. Looking to buy a wheel base for my computer.
Before Denuvo cracking got really big, it could be counted on to keep a game secure for months at a time, if I'm recalling correctly. Now I'm not sure why, it can get cracked in two days depending.
Huuuuuh
Work is so boring today
Have you tried azur lane?
Bullet hells don't work on smartphones
Any game that requires constant type of input is already shit on smartphones due to your thumb blocking part of the view
How about input area out of game relevant area.
Which is exactly how every of those games solve it
What examples of those games you have
Though it's not like some didn't try this, i.e. Bullet Hell Monday or something like that was actually decent, but still you managed to block the view by thumb
