windows 10 in nutshell

Fun fact: Homegroup functionality has been removed, so you can no longer access a Windows 10 file system remotely.

2019-03-09 09:36:59 UTC

You now MUST share the file, which means sending a copy. Or you can enable sharing (extremely handicapped remote access).

just like ad-hoc networks and everything else usefull niche

So you can no longer perform such useful tasks as generating a system image to be saved to a different device over network connection. Say, you have a computer low on disk space but have a desktop brimming with space, and don't feel the need to connect an external device.

BUT, you CAN use Chrome Remote Desktop to restart your PC, and then LOG INTO that very same PC because the services for remote desktop are loaded before you are even logged into your computer.

@Tervy My favorite part is that Windows 10 Education Pro has less features than Windows 10 Education.

2019-03-09 09:48:52 UTC

I guess Pro is for Problematic.

2019-03-09 09:55:47 UTC

2019-03-09 09:56:03 UTC

>illegal

2019-03-09 09:56:06 UTC

if you're downloading win 10 you don't care about the legality

2019-03-09 09:59:23 UTC

i'm not shilling for microsoft, just actually pointing out the only usable version

2019-03-09 10:01:08 UTC

Yes. You.

2019-03-09 10:02:09 UTC

2019-03-09 10:02:28 UTC

2019-03-09 10:02:36 UTC

2019-03-09 10:12:38 UTC
