Interesting none-the-less.
I've met some women who insisted on cesarian to protect their "figure"....I'd rather see a slightly different "figure" than a long abdominal scar tbh. I don't comprehend the motive.
Apparently actual birth isn’t fun
Birth trauma of all kinds has been documented, though I hadn't heard the alien thing before
She was an interesting person. Very wholesome and green. Barefoot and herbs in jars. Something of a wise woman.
It's the pregnancy that messes with your figure lol not the method of birth
My sister was a regular birth, my mom said she’d prefer the c section
That's what I thought @missliterallywho
Man I want a bunch of herbs in jars
Not the barefoot thing tho. I’m barefoot so rarely I forget what my feet look like
I want a girl with herbs in jars. (NOT WEED)
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN Like a believer in holistic medicine and whatnot?
Giving birth is f***ing tough, pardon my French.
That's actually Pashto
Same thing
French is a Evropan language and noble.
After doing it without any drugs I totally understand why many women choose c-sections
Pashto is related to French
My first thought after my son was born was that I would never judge another woman for not doing it all natural
@Papa Pizzagate yeah she was a midwife and involved in various spiritual practices. Several practices I found interesting but did not hold in equal respect. Herbalism is very useful. Crystals probably aren't...
I can't imagine popping something that size out of something that small... 😳
It's pretty versatile @Asatru Artist - MD
Maybe not the most precise of descriptions.
Ainu are Finns - Thoughts, @Nemets
The Ainu are Jomon/Nivkhs
@Nemets a proper response to my bait
The Nivkhs have the same bear ritual as the Ainu
Jomon made the undersea ruins off Japan, no?
@Wood-Ape - OK/MN lol. Yeah, for sure. Eschewing modern medicine is unnecessary and dangerous, but dismissing ancient knowledge is prideful and foolish.
I'm no hippie, but I use coconut oil, tea tree oil, rosemary, garlic, apple cider vinegar etc in my medicine cabinet, right next to Neosporin.
The Jomon were the only people in japan until near-historic times
@Asatru Artist - MD I can assure you there is no popping lol
The (chief?) ancestors of the Japanese, the Yayoi, came from Korea, bringing rice farming
<:nervous:359009898115104770>
The Yamato (generic Japanese) are the result of a mix of the Yayoi and the Jomon
@Papa Pizzagate very smart. Yes a bizarre array of superfluous chemicals in every product. Natural stuff can make effective and more healthy subs. The "hippie" / "trad" overlap zone is real and mostly a good thing.
@missliterallywho 14 hour "pop" in my case. <:pepe:359012488920039424>
Balance between "trad" and "futurism" is the key.
~~Knowledge~~ wisdom in both.
We invented medicine.
Much of the modern world is bad- much does not mean all.
