@Deleted User can JB weld fix a broken marriage?

2019-04-13 00:11:02 UTC

Yes, actually.

2019-04-13 00:11:32 UTC

Two parts need to become one and form a bond stronger than other single componant adhesives.

Gay.

These are the people who buy 'tactical' pens

2019-04-13 03:45:53 UTC

``people ``

2019-04-13 03:46:23 UTC

*People* don't do that, John. That's subhuman behavior.

2019-04-13 03:47:13 UTC

Also, there's nothing actually tacticool about that pen. It actually looks quite nice.

2019-04-13 04:14:31 UTC

aliexpress slightly redesigned their website 🤔

2019-04-13 04:15:04 UTC

it only seems like they touched the top most navigation bar

2019-04-13 04:16:18 UTC

Doesn't look bad

🤔

2019-04-13 19:16:53 UTC

but...y

2019-04-13 19:25:22 UTC

Reprogrammed keys and backlighting, like it says?

2019-04-13 19:33:01 UTC

alright yes, this is an upgrade for a magicforce 68, but chances are if you're the type of consumer whose interesting in buying pcb's for mechanical keyboards you wouldn't go out of your way to buy a pcb to do a replacement

2019-04-13 19:33:30 UTC

you'd just buy a pcb and make a brand new keyboard, because it'd be more convenient and a better investment of your time

2019-04-13 19:35:57 UTC

for $40 you're paying for:
1) junk keycaps
2) junk switches
3) strange 60-ish% layout

then you have to spend $10 for the pcb and $5 for a microcontroller and maybe some more bucks for something like LED lighting and a couple of hours in desoldering the old magicforce 68 (being sure not to melt anything), and resassembling it with the new pcb and features but same shitty keycaps, switches, and strange layout

2019-04-13 19:39:29 UTC

for $40 you're paying for:
1) plastic
2) meme switches
3) not even 100% keyboard but 60% what you bought cause you thought it makes ladies like you more

2019-04-13 19:39:31 UTC

ftfy

2019-04-13 19:41:09 UTC

anyway the fact that someone went out and designed this pcb and had it go and get produced makes no sense

2019-04-13 19:41:36 UTC

its easier and better to to this type of thing from scratch

2019-04-13 19:42:34 UTC

make pcb from scratch then pay big money to someone to make case to fit that shit only to realises your keycaps are wrong size

2019-04-13 19:42:58 UTC

not literally from scratch, i mean buying bare kit parts and assembling it together

2019-04-13 19:48:28 UTC

I mean, sure. But people get really, really autistic about stuff.

2019-04-13 19:48:43 UTC

See: audiophiles and cinema snobs

2019-04-13 19:49:31 UTC

Something being a good financial value proposition isn't the be-all end-all determination on if it's worth it to someone

2019-04-13 19:56:22 UTC

your better off just getting a tada68 or something

2019-04-13 19:57:04 UTC

that's what im saying

2019-04-13 19:57:52 UTC

its pretty shitty how expensive 70% pcbs are in comparison to the awful meme sizes

2019-04-13 19:58:28 UTC

I don't disagree, I'm just saying
