I am not questioning the existence of God, if you had read something, you'd know that, I'm questioning the necessity of God in order to deliver oneself from general temptations.

I was addicted to pornography and masturbation for around 35 years. I tried many times to stop, sometimes I would make it a few days sometimes a month or two but I would always fail. The minute I gave it to God and begged him to strengthen me, I was 100% fixed and in almost 2 years have not had a problem with either again.

The key was I had to truly WANT to be rid of that sin in my life, because had I still been secretly hanging on to it it would not have worked. You have to want and accept Gods help he is NOT going to force himself on you.
