I am not questioning the existence of God, if you had read something, you'd know that, I'm questioning the necessity of God in order to deliver oneself from general temptations.

I was addicted to pornography and masturbation for around 35 years. I tried many times to stop, sometimes I would make it a few days sometimes a month or two but I would always fail. The minute I gave it to God and begged him to strengthen me, I was 100% fixed and in almost 2 years have not had a problem with either again.

Design does not necessitate a creator, necessity necessitates a creator, if you say complexity because God did it, then according to Ockham's Razor it is equally valid to say spaghetti monster.

God has helped me through many occasions. But there is also things that I didn't need god's help with and was just basic biological assignment. The key was I had to truly WANT to be rid of that sin in my life, because had I still been secretly hanging on to it it would not have worked. You have to want and accept Gods help he is NOT going to force himself on you.
