I watched Gangs of New York too
you aren't impressing anyone
>using a sexualized minion picture and claiming i'm the one in the wrong when it comes to Christianity and the bible
stop trolling
That was a very weak effort, you and I both know profile pictures have nothing to do with whether or not you're a good Christian
That's idolatry, in a sense
Good day
ok nice try troll/
do you even know what idolatry is?
@Bibleman Not a troll. Nice to you. Then you went off. Confirming the words spoken.
>was ignoring my verses and putting it off as me being hateful
>you defending this person's actions
i told you many times to stop being a hypocrite
It was not that. Just that the words quoted were not relevant to the conversation.
Leviticus 19:17
**Leviticus 19:17 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<17> Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him. ```
you push Torah, stop not rebuking sin and saying its ok, and pushing masutrbation
hypocritical
I am just trying to help you. You know that. We see things differently. People always see things differently. No two are really the same. I was married. Perhaps that was the difference. She could not get pregnant past time for that.
I never complain at the New Testament verses. Unless they are one of the few I do not believe belong in the New Testament.
trying to push masturbation is not helpful to ANYONE, it is a lustful activity
Like the ones on the Trinity we agree should not be there. Others where it seems it was power for Rome why they are there.
As long as you view it as that it is that. I was very agreeable on that. I just feel it is possible to remove lust from yourself.
there are only few verses that don't agree with manuscript or were added in 2nd century
Perhaps at my age but not yours.
masturbation is a lustful activity, no matter how much "control" you have over yourself lustful thoughts will creep in when you do it
A few we know without any real doubt were added.
it's like begging a guy with a gun to shoot you
No. Not what it is. You see this as a sin. I see it as a sin for the vast majority of people as well. We all sin. Seems to me sometimes it makes sense to chose the sin we most want to avoid. Fornication should be avoided at all costs. The other one should be avoided by almost all people. Yet better that than fornication.
It only harms one person. Fornication harms both who do it.
sin is sin, you don't just say "better i do this sin then that one" you stop both
The Bible often sets harsh penalties for sins. Not so harsh for other sins.
I agree you should not sin. Totally agree. However we often know we might sin. If we can stop a grievous sin we should stop it. Avoid it.
the wages of sin is death, if you choose to do something you know is completely evil, its wrong
I assure you many sins do much more harm to us than other minor sins.
All men sin and fall short of the Glory of God. So we will all suffer death for our sins without exception. Do you not agree with that. Surly you do not think you will live forever.
Sin is not acceptable. Getting to do less and less sin is a great way to come closer to God. Far too many people worry so much about sinning that they end up feeling pleasing God is impossible. Then they become worse sinners than they had been.
Jesus says be perfect, that means you have to get better at it every day and devote yourself completely, it doesn't mean do a bunch of little sins here and there
lots of OSAS people are going to have a rude awakening with Matthew 7:23
**Matthew 7:23 - King James Version (KJV)**
```Dust
<23> And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. ```
^
I do surely think i will live forever.. not in this body...but in the spiritual body that Christ will give to us... it is His promise
Psalm 31 7 I rejoice, and am glad in Thy kindness, In that Thou hast seen mine affliction, Thou hast known in adversities my soul.
8 And Thou hast not shut me up, Into the hand of an enemy, Thou hast caused my feet to stand in a broad place.
9 Favour me, O Jehovah, for distress [is] to me, Mine eye, my soul, and my body Have become old by provocation.
10 For my life hath been consumed in sorrow And my years in sighing. Feeble because of mine iniquity hath been my strength, And my bones have become old.
11 Among all mine adversaries I have been a reproach, And to my neighbours exceedingly, And a fear to mine acquaintances, Those seeing me without -- fled from me.
12 I have been forgotten as dead out of mind, I have been as a perishing vessel.
13 For I have heard an evil account of many, Fear [is] round about. In their being united against me, To take my life they have devised,
14 And I on Thee -- I have trusted, O Jehovah, I have said, `Thou [art] my God.'
15 In Thy hand [are] my times, Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, And from my pursuers.
16 Cause Thy face to shine on Thy servant, Save me in Thy kindness.
17 O Jehovah, let me not be ashamed, For I have called Thee, let the wicked be ashamed, Let them become silent to Sheol.
18 Let lips of falsehood become dumb, That are speaking against the righteous, Ancient sayings, in pride and contempt.
19 How abundant is Thy goodness, That Thou hast laid up for those fearing Thee,
20 Thou hast wrought for those trusting in Thee, Before sons of men. Thou hidest them in the secret place of Thy presence, From artifices of man, Thou concealest them in a tabernacle, From the strife of tongues.
21 Blessed [is] Jehovah, For He hath made marvellous His kindness To me in a city of bulwarks.
