Reinhard Wolff is filling in for Taylor?

2019-02-22 17:42:21 UTC

Boomers getting their 401ks culturally enriched might actually wake them up

2019-02-22 17:42:23 UTC

I think it’s Henry Wolff?

2019-02-22 17:42:57 UTC

Putting in for jobs in Montana, how do you guys that live there like it? I'm big into the outdoors as is my wife, looking around the Kalispell area.

2019-02-22 17:43:07 UTC

It's Henry.

2019-02-22 17:43:09 UTC

Good guy

2019-02-22 17:43:26 UTC

Like what @Ryan-IL ?

2019-02-22 17:43:51 UTC

Oh nvm

2019-02-22 17:44:03 UTC

I love MT. Born and raised

2019-02-22 17:44:40 UTC

I'm looking for a better community to raise the family, Illinois is ridiculous..

2019-02-22 17:44:43 UTC

Kalispell is amazing

2019-02-22 17:44:54 UTC

I have a condo up in that area. Great place

2019-02-22 17:45:34 UTC

Yes ☝🏻

2019-02-22 17:45:52 UTC

I want to leave california for wa, id, mt

2019-02-22 17:46:22 UTC

No sales tax in MT either

2019-02-22 17:46:22 UTC

Work is the trick though.

2019-02-22 17:47:00 UTC

I've heard alot of great things, and it's more homogeneous than here so that's a plus.

2019-02-22 17:47:27 UTC

Also its in a great location. Close to plenty of lakes, Glacier Nat. Park, even Canada

2019-02-22 17:48:38 UTC

Most of my income is passive income so I only need to find some part time work really. Hunting and fishing there would be a dream there. I'm sick of having to travel to do those things, I want flathead in my back yard lol

2019-02-22 17:48:53 UTC

Be a dream*

2019-02-22 17:49:46 UTC

Construction, mines, railroads offer a lot of jobs

2019-02-22 17:50:23 UTC

For me concern is local economy that can support kids and grandkids. Settling down for kids to have to move off to thrive is lame.

2019-02-22 17:50:58 UTC

That being said california white exodus means northwest will be booming in 20 years

2019-02-22 17:51:06 UTC

Kalispell is a growth area for sure

2019-02-22 17:51:27 UTC

I guess it depends on what you mean by "thrive". I hope to raise my kids to understand that the chase of material goods will ultimately lead to unhappiness.

2019-02-22 17:51:37 UTC

Montana welcomes all white California refugees

2019-02-22 17:52:16 UTC

also the CA exodus is why I kept my WY residency lol

2019-02-22 17:52:31 UTC

Montana has a lot of small communities that are conservative and value older traditions

2019-02-22 17:52:36 UTC

One of the biggest issues with American culture is there isn't a lot of unity or loyalty to anything but material greed. Live to be in debt so to speak.

2019-02-22 17:52:47 UTC

2019-02-22 17:53:31 UTC

Small towns in the west can very much still have that 'howdy neighbor' vibe to them

2019-02-22 17:54:13 UTC

A CA suburbanite is an urbanite in MT. This was an unexpected lesson I learned since moving here.

2019-02-22 17:54:29 UTC

@Ryan-IL get rich still. But with the intention of building our patriotic resistance with your wealth

2019-02-22 17:54:56 UTC

Heck, a CA ruralite is practically an urbanite here

2019-02-22 17:55:14 UTC

Yeah we do need money but we should build it into generational wealth that can buy institutional power

2019-02-22 17:56:22 UTC

I grew up in Kalispell

2019-02-22 17:56:33 UTC

To big now though

2019-02-22 17:56:42 UTC

Expensive as well?

2019-02-22 17:56:59 UTC

I want land!!! A place I can disappear for awhile lol I'm big into survival and bushcrafting. Sounds very hippie when you say Bushcraft out loud
.. lol

2019-02-22 17:57:12 UTC

It’s alright I guess, no different than anywhere else in the state

2019-02-22 17:57:36 UTC

Hell whitefish has a lot of nice rural areas.
