@Zane There are a lot of groups that believe this is a lower realm of existence where suffering is possible. When we cleanse our karma or spiritual baggage, so to speak, then we can obtain a higher state of being/living/realm where we are more blissful. There are a lot of ways to explain it, see it, and interpret it, but that's a basic idea. I think that's more with Jainism.

What if people did live on mars, but they messed up the climate or something up so bad they sent two people, a male and a female, them being sent in a space pod. The people of mars sent the people to Earth, that space pod being the ‘meteor’, in this case, that wiped out the dinosaurs. Those two people being Adam and Eve, they reproduced, and someone was like “hey that could be a religion if i change it enough”
