There’s this documentary on Netflix about a basically all jewish town in New York

Like 80% of them are on welfare

There’s a jewish woman in the documentary who’s trying to escape her abusive husband but literally the entire police force and lawyers in that town all follow jewish religious laws so she has no way out

@Nemets LA is crazy. Spent a week in rural MN and then a week in LA. It was like going from an idillic farm town to Blade Runner universe in the span of 12 hours.

I think my mom's side of the family is pretty apolitical on Jews

I’d say my opinion is, anyone has the right to their own culture and people, but the jewish community has had a hard time establishing themselves as a group without trampling on others

Well when everywhere you go you only function well as a small nepotistic out group in another’s society.
