Hi, I'm new to flat earthing, i need some explanations of some stuff cause i really wanna believe this theory, i think it is the most likely theory to explain the shape of the earth, I'm just skeptical of some things.
1. Why would the government lie to us about the earth being flat, I think that if the earth is flat they would say the earth is flat.
2. How can you debunk the experiments like when people measured a long bridge, and measured that the bridge poles were slightly further apart at the top than the bottom.
3. How come a ship dissappears into the horizon if the earth is flat?

quit slacking roche

People here are just throwing out thousands of factors that can contribute to horizon viewing distances.

2019-06-26 19:58:56 UTC

@Oggeenock are you doubting the flat earth?

ships dont go "over" a horizon either. its just perspective

2019-06-26 19:59:09 UTC

@Derek Nelson good point

2019-06-26 19:59:16 UTC

If the earth ever curved. A gyroscope would show it. It never does though.

2019-06-26 19:59:31 UTC

Yes.

2019-06-26 19:59:56 UTC

m8 some dude on a tv show bought a $20,000 gyroscope to test that and it proved a globe earth kek

2019-06-26 20:00:13 UTC

ummmm "NO"

2019-06-26 20:00:19 UTC

Yeah right.

2019-06-26 20:00:23 UTC

my dad is round does that make him the earth?
NO

2019-06-26 20:00:26 UTC

deception

2019-06-26 20:00:28 UTC

roche quit slacking and get back to work

2019-06-26 20:00:31 UTC

ring laser gyro... even his new videos show exact tilt that you would expect when sitting on the side of a ball LOL

2019-06-26 20:00:37 UTC

@Derek Nelson are you serious, PLEASE research into how a gyroscope works before using it in arguments

¿

2019-06-26 20:01:19 UTC

I am dying inside right now

2019-06-26 20:01:25 UTC

Exactly how that gyro works, plus Sargent's newer vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJOaBGAgyhw

Are you aware, @user not found that if the earth were convexing, it could never, ever show a concave curve with a fisheye lens? Only a flat surface can do that. And we see nasa do it all the time.

2019-06-26 20:01:54 UTC

the earth is flat

2019-06-26 20:02:00 UTC

no

2019-06-26 20:02:10 UTC

yes it is

2019-06-26 20:02:13 UTC

the earth is a square

2019-06-26 20:02:19 UTC

no its a dounut

2019-06-26 20:02:20 UTC

foolish human

2019-06-26 20:02:27 UTC

umm

2019-06-26 20:02:34 UTC

that's kind of a weak argument, as it would show it convexing if it's big enough. wich it is

2019-06-26 20:02:42 UTC

ban the gobshite

2019-06-26 20:02:44 UTC

Hey, 15 degree rotation... proved by someone on your side lol

SEND these tards to the ICE BOX

2019-06-26 20:02:47 UTC

i think u'll find that it is a triangle

2019-06-26 20:02:58 UTC

the Behind the Curve "documentary" was a FE hit piece

2019-06-26 20:03:19 UTC

You gonna ad hom attack it, or attack the science inside?

2019-06-26 20:03:44 UTC

@Derek Nelson once again, that is not how a fish eye lens works. What a fish eye lens does is it finds a central point of congruence in a video, then inversely distributes that into to opposing concave and convex composite images. So yes a curved object can show both, and there are many reasons why nasa uses these amazing lenses.

2019-06-26 20:03:46 UTC

imagine muting someone because they prove your point wrong... thought this was a debate server

2019-06-26 20:04:17 UTC

I don’t know how a fish eye lens is so confusing to understand
