@Virgil Monarchy use their private money for everything, and any public taxes they get, they give back to the public with added interest.

2019-03-01 17:24:31 UTC

Also nations with Monarchies are among the most successful, at least in Europe

2019-03-01 17:24:43 UTC

The intense selection pressure of capitalism has produced bicameralism as the superior form of governance. I think its hard to argue thay there is a more efficient system than bicameral corporatism

2019-03-01 17:25:24 UTC

Corporatism makes me *angery* though

2019-03-01 17:25:30 UTC

Constituional monarchy is basically bicameralism

2019-03-01 17:25:55 UTC

WhitePeople Inc would probably not make you angry

2019-03-01 17:26:45 UTC

You mean to tell me that a large corporate body that can easily be subverted by a larger corporate entity is based?

2019-03-01 17:26:53 UTC

Unrelated story: The first time I went to Hobby Lobby here in MT I suddenly felt like I was home in CA. It was laid out exactly the same as the Temecula store. 😭

2019-03-01 17:27:10 UTC

Tfw corporations are home <:honk:548295778888843266>

2019-03-01 17:27:54 UTC

@The Eternal Anglo same is true of any government. Look at how china and usa toy with smaller governments

2019-03-01 17:29:22 UTC

Money can only do so many things, it cannot create all things, and it surely shouldn't be used as a form of governance, in my opinion.
Big money is how we got into our current situation, and is the driving factor for ethnic replacement in a lot of countries, where only money matters

2019-03-01 17:30:02 UTC

Bicameralism is a governance structure it doesnt require fungible shares

2019-03-01 17:30:42 UTC

Basically supreme executive accountable to owners (aka landholders)

2019-03-01 17:31:12 UTC

The one function of voting is to select supreme executive

2019-03-01 17:31:15 UTC

Thats it.

2019-03-01 17:31:41 UTC

Return the serfs to their proper place when

2019-03-01 17:33:13 UTC

Cromwell gang

2019-03-01 17:33:22 UTC

The way historically that this system was stable is that land owners were also military elite, thus no one could veto them. In modern times without a military caste, this is a bit tricky

2019-03-01 17:33:59 UTC

@StormySeaShore Have you seen the series Wolf Hall? V good

2019-03-01 17:34:22 UTC

Wolf Hall is like game of thrones but not fake and ghey

2019-03-01 17:34:34 UTC

What’s it on

2019-03-01 17:34:37 UTC

Will watch

2019-03-01 17:34:40 UTC

Also accurate costuming and sets

2019-03-01 17:34:49 UTC

I want ten more shows like Wolf Hall. We watched it on Amazon Prime

2019-03-01 17:45:41 UTC

I hate that shows depict medieval people in dirty rags. Even nobles in fantasy shows look like hobos compared to historically accurate costuming

2019-03-01 17:46:17 UTC

Its like they want you to think these people were stupid savages instead of highly cultured and intelligent

2019-03-01 17:48:50 UTC

Typical Hollywood projection.

2019-03-01 17:49:42 UTC

The medieval hate goes back to enlightenment chauvinism

2019-03-01 17:49:57 UTC

Salty rationalists

2019-03-01 17:56:02 UTC

We need to make a white friendly movie list.

2019-03-01 17:57:09 UTC

And series list

2019-03-01 17:59:36 UTC
2019-03-01 18:04:19 UTC

This fit is drippin

2019-03-01 18:05:11 UTC

Here’s the female counterpart

2019-03-01 18:05:20 UTC

These videos are really cool

2019-03-01 18:05:27 UTC

And from what I gather very accurate

2019-03-01 18:14:26 UTC

Also some natural dyes were cheap and common. For example onion skins make a very nice yellow. Medieval peasents would have brightly colored clothing.

2019-03-01 18:14:50 UTC

@The Eternal Anglo Having a Monarchy maybe correlated with success, but I haven't seen much evidence for causation.

I think people also have a romantic view of what Monarchs and aristocrats are. In reality, more often than not, they tend to be total spoiled, dysfunctional degenerates. With some very notable exceptions.

I think a more meritoctatic system where people rise through the ranks based more on their ability rather than simply being born into the right family.

2019-03-01 18:15:06 UTC

I love natural dyeing, so fun and such beautiful colors
