Anthropomorphism of animals is a really interesting topic. I too have an axe to grind with it. Ethics of eating pig vs eating dog? Is one actually less moral than another?

I choose to eat pig because it’s yummy. I choose to eat dog because it’s yummy. Is the second one actually immoral?

This is my general reasoning

This is where I stand too. But I feel there is a cultural anthropomorphic element there. So I’m open minded to Italians eating horse.

I don't think it's immoral to eat a dog I also think you may not have many friends because people put emotions to pets of all kinds especially dogs.
