there
that's how you define it
Awesome
@VaporIcecream (On Hiatus) Chile's US back coup ended up making it the 3rd best living standards in the western hemisphere after It became Capitalist. None of the U.S. Coups implemented socialism and once these countries became socialist it went all down hill. Trying to blame it on sanctions when we still bought products from these countries and so did many other countries is economically illiterate
@VaporIcecream (On Hiatus) Once again does not realize all of Humanities greatest innovations in the past two centuries has been due to Capitalism and Capitalist countries with free market systems have prospered greater than any others on planet earth.
dude i actually could not
good
that would be gay, otherwise
@VaporIcecream (On Hiatus) Literally no serious politician has actually proposed trickle down economics
that's some no true scotsman shit, cause I know Reagan for sure did, and Reagan is still popular with boomers today
@DeepLove "Reaganomics" is fake. He never passed any bills even close to a modern idea of trickle down economics.
Look it up yourself
then how did the idea get into the memespace?
Yea it wasn't called trickle down
It was called Reagannomics and was not what we think trickle down is, which is also not a real or legitimate theory proposed by anyone
@🅱oomer Ted Cruz I am going to refute this when I wake up. Peron did way more for Argentina than the CIA backed fraud Pinochet did for Chile
@♥ Nalokotniki ♥ That would be nice
A fucking metal alien
@The Big Oof Pinochet made huge economic reforms that led the way to it's more Capitalist economy that is doing well now and has led it to surpass every nation other than Canada and the US in the western hemisphere.
Pinochet was not a great person and was extremely authoritarian and cruel
But he did more than the socialists did for Chile and any other south American nation
@🅱oomer Ted Cruz
"Pinochet made huge economic reforms that led the way to it's more Capitalist economy that is doing well now"
Unless you want to contribute all economic growth after his regime to Pinochet, this is false. Wages decreased by an average of 8-9% under his regime. Throughout the overwhelming majority of his rule, **wages were significantly lower in Chile than the Latin American average.** Some 44-45% of Chilean households were in poverty near the end of the Pinochet regime.
The GDP growth he is often praised began at the very end of his rule and the vast majority of it occurred when he was out of this picture. Overall, there was very little GDP growth in Chile from 1975 until the mid 1980s. This is due to the fact that Pinochet's economic policies led to not one, but two economic recessions under his rule.
Show me any graph of Chile today that you feel proves Pinochet was a good leader, and I will direct you to the time period and years on that graph, and ask you when they occurred. The majority of Pinochet's rule featured economic struggle, with only a small period being genuine economic growth.
@The Big Oof#6475
Who is person
Who names their child person
@iwantfun I meant Peron
Thought so
divided by number of ovens in each camp
also not to be a stickler but they didn't cremate all the jews
divided by the number of people you can fit in an oven. Divided by how long it takes to cremate a body. Divided by the number of oven in each camp. Divided by the number of camps. Get it right noob.
Not to mention that numbers don't mean everything.
It's true, though.
The Nazis were socialists, at least according to themselves.
Well they didn't follow the traditional definition of socialism
It was a special kind of socialism where you privatize stuff
@Vilhelmsson Not socialist in the Marxist sense
Which is what a bunch of morons today think
