And I hate the EU

Their relevance is already diminished by the EU.

I am speaking of the relevance of Europe

As a bloq the continent has more power

This is a political fact

I do agree that the member States should have greater power and I want greater sovereignty

But I think the EU just needs to reform, not dissolve.

Reformation of such an organisation will not work unless it is changed completely, beyond recognition.

And any reformation that is led by the EU, not the nations, will be towards federalisation. Which, if done correctly, where the nations are all left to their own devices and laws as the US was envisioned then it may work.

But, independence of the nations is still better than that in my eyes

From the eyes of a global politics student, I just know for a fact that despite my best wishes for Euro indepedence. The EU is currently the best thing the continent has going.

It is unavoidable because the people have turned against globalism. First England then Italy.

Which type of criminals? There's a strong distinction between "violently dangerous to society" and "barely dangerous to society".

Even between white collar and blue collar crime.

Perhaps the military is a good choice for some. I'm thinking the hardest work possible and the strongest brainwashing possible.

The military is a master of both.

Prison, or execution.

Murder, Rape, and violent robbery shouls be excommunicated from society, not reintrduced. All other crimes shouls just be fined.

Halfway houses and programs to get them used to being back into civilian life. Kinda like what they do when people are geting out of the marinecorps

The best way is healing family units. Giving the person incarcerated a skill and options other than what got them in trouble.

Criminals have two paths in my eyes: lifetime in a rehabilitation center, or dying on a cross-and-stake.
