@Doctor Anon Yes it'll go with a simpler however.
The EU will fall. It’s problem is trying to make everyone and everything the same. The various cultures and people of Europe still have separate identities and visions of an ideal future. They will attempt to be more forceful as their unity crumbles, but in the end, the center will not hold. Europeans will be free again. One day.
@Alex D_rizzle seems to not have noticed that Italy put together a government and that most governments in Europe take a while to form unless their is a solid majority power broker who holds all the cards and can deal with some of the smaller parties.
Voted pro-Brexit, and proudly get called a racist for it. Because it's fucking comical to hear people think that leaving a political union is racism, then see the same people turn round and support Catalonia's attempt at leaving Spain.
@NullJager my bad, it did take quite a while for the Italian government to form though.
Yeah, it takes quite a while for a few governments to form in Europe.
And anyway, the EU is a dead man walking.
A lot of people seem to be wising up to the fact that this time Germany didn't invade. They just have a receipt.
I think the EU will last at least another 5-10 years if not much more @NullJager
5-10 years in the history of a nation and politics is not long at all.
I suspect it may be more like another 20 years
Right now there is no other alternative
There is, independence.
That means diminshed relevance in the global political economy
It's just not viable
And I hate the EU
Their relevance is already diminished by the EU.
I am speaking of the relevance of Europe
As a bloq the continent has more power
This is a political fact
I do agree that the member States should have greater power and I want greater sovereignty
But I think the EU just needs to reform, not dissolve.
Reformation of such an organisation will not work unless it is changed completely, beyond recognition.
And any reformation that is led by the EU, not the nations, will be towards federalisation. Which, if done correctly, where the nations are all left to their own devices and laws as the US was envisioned then it may work.
But, independence of the nations is still better than that in my eyes
From the eyes of a global politics student, I just know for a fact that despite my best wishes for Euro indepedence. The EU is currently the best thing the continent has going.
It is unavoidable because the people have turned against globalism. First England then Italy.
@Alex D_rizzle why do you think the EU is the best thing going on right now?
Name a feasible alternative that will maintain the remaining amount of clout has in global politics
Is the clout worth it? I’m skeptical. The price is too high.
What clout
They treat america unfairly
I think that if we want to avoid wars we should have fair trade not free trade

- What is the best way to reintegrate criminals into society?
a bullet
Hire more teachers and social workers for prisons and people who refuse help should be executed

this

if their crime can not be repaid through labor, or they have repeatedly committed crimes
just kill or deport them
anything to rid our society of them
Which type of criminals? There's a strong distinction between "violently dangerous to society" and "barely dangerous to society".
