Of Course Trumps going to win
But, even if the House impeaches him, the Senate will protect him
unless something big changes
and yeah but an impeachment attempt would be impotent as shit
I think it would start strong and slowly become a laughing stock
I think we can flip several seats in the special elections once vacancies happen. We can then flip 20 house seats. Assuming we flip 23, we get 237
Thats doable
in a way it's odd LOL. I remember when no one would care about this. All the cuckservatives are scurrying though
Trump won, Republicans lost short term, Dems lost long term. Trump gets rid of his enemies in the GOP and only loses his majority by a slight number, a number irrelevant due to dems that have voted with Republicans before and can again. Senate made huge gains and we actually gained votes in blue areas, while are losses were only those who dont stand with Trump or needed purging anyways.
Dems will now become the thing that gained part of their base in attempting to lame duck a president, causing a take back of the house in 2020 and Trump rolling through judge and department appointments.
Dems gain nothing but a speaker role
As well Republicans now know what will win them seats and won't in our current climate, as well knowing the power of money from out of state towards elections.
The joke #Blexit has also actually helped Republicans being responsible for gains in the black vote in areas like Michigan where Flint voted for the Republicans.
Democrats won house
Republicans won senate
fact is fact
Republicans
Democrats barely held on to the historic trend of the out party taking the house. The number was comparably small.
Republicans picked up seats under these conditions. Which hasn’t been done since Kennedy.
I’m not saying it’s all smiles and puppy farts, but it should have been worse.
Republicans won, but nothing of serious note besides more spots in the senate. I believe this is just a transition phase, especially considering session's resignation alongside rothsteins deplatform off of the investigation.
It could've been better but I'm glad it wasn't worse. Trumps campaigns definitely helped out overall , especially in places such as Arizona or Indiana.
Had Ryan and McCain left earlier, I think the repubs would've kept more seats in the house.
I think it's fine that we lost the house. We weren't really passing anything besides Tax cuts. We would have gotten more tax cuts but it's not the end of the world.
yeah but you know they are gonna try their damndest to impeach trump
Yes, but it won't get past the senate
opposite senate and house sucks
nothing seems to get done
Republicans can still appoint judges and if Ginsberg passes, we may get another judge on the court.
yeah
I prefer Trump as President above everybody solely because the politically correct police don't feel like protecting him and comedians can say what they want that would be physically impossible for Comics under a Hillary Administration the only person I would have picked above him would have been Bernie only because of the way he went after pharmaceutical companies only politician with the balls to do that
Not exactly a fan of his socialist platform but pharmaceutical companies need to be talked about in politics
I mean
Obama lost 60 seats in 2010, yeah
but it crippled his ability to do anything
We can win the House back 2020. What happened, happened. Count our blessings and move forward into victory.
Hoorah
@Earl of Morrrrgantown What does the white on your map mean? Tossup?
@the_bestapo It means no Senate Election is happening there
