The alt right had a pseudo golden age with coming to media attention, this resulted in their well, absolute burial. However the alt right is heading moreso towards a schism. Youll be left with the alt right that has 1488 cringy bois and then the nationalists will break off, right now they are a vocal and large group within the alt right, both racially aware and isolationist, some are fascist monarchist democratic etc. However their place isnt officially IMo in the alt right. They will eventually splinter off when they realise the differences between them and the alt right, IMO that might even be the difference between the revolutionary drive and the reformist

and generally people find reformists more palpable unless the revolutionary has some absolutely absurd charisma (also there is more htan enough pan euro rhetoric and ideas in the alt right. such as white nationalism being a thing for all euro nations and not at all will be used to subvert them in the future. *Cough* Richard spencer)

Former alt lite people are now becoming alt right mainstream, and they’re shifting this kind of alt right mentality to replace the mainstream right wing, people like Tommy Robinson and Lauren Southern, so soon the alt right will be the mainstream right and once again it will be controlled
