Anyway, I get your point of view. We will have to agree to disagree.

2018-12-06 22:42:18 UTC

authoritarianism is better

2018-12-06 22:50:10 UTC

@Enigmatic★Chromatic Left wing authoritarianism such as what? Leninism? I've looked into Strasserism a LITTLE and I agree that land and natural resources should be state controlled to serve the nation. Not rented, speculated, privately owned and passed down. I'm for their meritocratic state schools. I'm a bit indifferent on their ideas on how to run factories. I'm against their agriculture fetish. They were completely wrong on race.

2018-12-06 22:59:59 UTC

Well I am not a nationalist, I support authority in the sense of continued revolutionary terror to reach communism

2018-12-06 23:00:38 UTC

Firstly revolutionary and military struggle against the state, and after which cultural revolution used to combat revisionism and reactionaryism

2018-12-06 23:00:57 UTC

Nationalism is the greatest defense against exploitation

2018-12-06 23:00:59 UTC

hot take

2018-12-06 23:07:29 UTC

Strasserism in my opinion doesn't go far enough in regards to revolutionizing the relationships to production and on this I even agree with Nazbol more. I know the far right is supposed to be against capitalism, but outside of returning to Feudalism and perhaps distributism I have not seen any legitimate alternative to the capitalist mode of production from the right

2018-12-06 23:08:00 UTC

I would actually saw outside of Marxism the left doesn't have a comprehensive alternative to capitalism either

2018-12-06 23:08:24 UTC

The common ground we have is an opposition it consumerism and the decadence of the bourgeois class

2018-12-06 23:09:37 UTC

My support for authority is in destroying bourgeois power, reorganizing the relationships to production and all that is entailed with that like ending the urban rural divide and changing the state from liberal democracy to whatever fits a planned socialist economy

2018-12-06 23:10:00 UTC

Sorry by my big long gay thing, but I thought I would explain it a bit more

2018-12-06 23:12:49 UTC

Oh and I'm not sure strasserism actually abolishes the commodity form which is the most important aspect to ending capitalism

2018-12-06 23:41:41 UTC

ya

2018-12-06 23:58:14 UTC

@Bowman Yes, I 100% agree with you

2018-12-06 23:59:36 UTC

@Enigmatic★Chromatic The Left wants free healthcare, free tuition/free education and rights for all.

2018-12-06 23:59:46 UTC

They want the 1% and the government to pay for it all.

2018-12-07 00:02:14 UTC

Uh

2018-12-07 00:02:24 UTC

That's not really leftist...

2018-12-07 00:02:38 UTC

Like fascists are for welfare programs too

2018-12-07 00:07:50 UTC

Everything fails without nationalism and a sense of a unified people, this would be especially true in multi-culti America with it's elevated racial tensions. I wouldn't say the far right is against capitalism really, I would say they seek to separate productive behavior from exploitive. I have no problem with people earning a wage or the existence of income disparity. I have no problem with buying and selling personal goods. In my mind though, no one would own a large business as much as they would just be put in charge of operations. Their pay and continued employment dependent on their performance. No shares to be sold and no speculation on goods and materials. No profit from money manipulation, no interest rate. I like the idea of money serving only to buy personal items and being otherwise useless. I'm not sure where I'm headed on economic issues and I can't label myself.

2018-12-07 00:19:49 UTC

authoritarianism

2018-12-07 00:20:06 UTC

authoritarianism big gay

2018-12-07 00:20:10 UTC

liberty or death

2018-12-07 01:02:20 UTC

then you will be given death

2018-12-07 01:14:53 UTC

Well people are paid differently, according to labor, in communism so we aren't against income disparity either. Our goal is the elimination of class distinctions and the move from production for exchange to production for use. But I mean ethno-nationalism is only one form of nationalism and it's a recent invention. Past societies were largely multi-racial. I'll provide my favorite definition of a Nation: ```A nation is a historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, and psychological make-up manifested in a common culture.```
It's important to see this doesn't include race and I'll provide the reasoning

2018-12-07 01:15:24 UTC

```What is a nation?
A nation is primarily a community, a definite community of people.
This community is not racial, nor is it tribal. The modern Italian nation was formed from Romans, Teutons, Etruscans, Greeks, Arabs, and so forth. The French nation was formed from Gauls, Romans, Britons, Teutons, and so on. The same must be said of the British, the Germans and others, who were formed into nations from people of diverse races and tribes.
Thus, a nation is not a racial or tribal, but a historically constituted community of people.```
2018-12-07 01:16:04 UTC
Now international is not the abolition of nations, as they'll naturally arise from material conditions of the time and place, but it is the end of nation states
2018-12-07 01:16:54 UTC
Currently nation states are a thing of the past anyways. The USA is made up of many nations, the South, New England, the Native Tribes and Black People all constitute separate nations
2018-12-07 01:18:31 UTC
Italy is similar, it's Tuscany dominant but contains many national identities invluding entirely different dialects. China and India are likewise made of many nations. In China the dominant nation is Han Chinese with 54 other ethnic groups, many of which are given national self determination and autonomous regions
2018-12-07 01:19:03 UTC
The TL;DR is I'm not oppose to nationalism by nature, just national chauvanism
2018-12-07 01:25:07 UTC
it's irrelevant if people are or aren't paid differently for labour in communism
2018-12-07 01:25:15 UTC
as what "pay" represents is vastly different anyway
2018-12-07 01:43:30 UTC
Elaborate?
2018-12-07 03:52:56 UTC
A small authoritarian government with the explicit desire to serve and to see over the nation's people.
2018-12-07 03:58:38 UTC
Think midget with a bazooka, not really harmful on it's own, but not a good idea to piss it off.
2018-12-07 07:08:58 UTC
