I would say an economy is composed of different agents using resources, so there is nothing to say that they have to replenish and reproduce. Sure, I will agree that families must prosper for us to have what we call a 'good' distribution of resources but I don't think it's necessary to examine the economy purely at that level.
ignoring the fact the social fallout of such a policy, that relies on perpetual shithold countries, and so is inherently destructive, or at least poverty is then endogenous to your model
you can't make all countries posperous, cause then you won't have an immigrant labor force to pour into your country
saying the individual is the basic unit doesn't mean that you ignore the wider picture
capitalists look at the society very often I'd say
instead of single agents
It depends, any society who's unit does not go past the individual is doomed to failure. Our society has been lasting this long because of the family being the unit, allowing for long term success, the individual being the main focus is a modern invention.
An invention derived from our consistent decadence into wholly materialistic objectives.
that's how the modern world has twisted it, but individualism originated from the concept of freedom
I'm not saying it's right to base a civilization off of it, just that it has its place
Funnily enough even a neo liberal understands that the family unit is essential https://youtu.be/MRpEV2tmYz4
the family unit, reducing the base unit of society breaks down the actual structure of society in somethign that is basically social anarchy and in itself infinitely subversive and incapable of actually cooperating
when the family is the base unit of society, since it is actually something that can continue society, we see societies propser and an order come out of it that actually works together towards the common goal of ensuring a good enviorment and future for offspring
Daily Question 🔖 :
Is College really as left leaning as people say it is? If you have experienced any libtards on campus, try to share a story of a leftist sperg-out.

Yes
They are Indoctriation centers
yep
It depends on the college TBH
Yea most colleges are left, but I’ve been near some pretty right colleges
my college prof sperged out at me when i said mexico was just as much to blame for bribery as the businesses that did it
>College
>Right
Pick one
should have just said it wasn't my fault mexico was a shithole
Colleges certainly have a more moderate student body than anything, but where the actual college staff leans is different
whish that phrase had been popularized
If you consider libtards leftists sure I guess
Tbh, When I live on Campus, expect a Roman Eagle + Bundle of Sticks flag on the front entrance..
hot
Of my college house
Imagine going to college
Perhaps this is because I go to a Californian university, but people indeed to have to do course requirements related to diversity.
Not to mention a lot of "soft sciences", like linguistics, are chock full of these sorts of politically correct terms and narratives.
idk
It is left, yeah.
