my neck and back
Probably because I played sea of theives for 13 hours straight
Because you're 80
sea of thieves got too hyped
like its a good game
but it got so much hype
It's a good fucken game
that it kinda died
like not ded
It's active
but not as popular anymore
its like overwatch
good game
overhyped
still a good active game
but signifigantly less popular
Eh
Both are games worth playing
Sea of theives would be fucking 10/10 if there were more ships/players per map
regarding <#479347111775830017>, does anyone know what's the difference between a classical republic and a modern one?
It’s just not the same without zexy to torment
@grilomoto a modern republic basically means a representative democracy. Classical Republic means a mixed government, especially one that incorporates some form of all three types of governance: monarchy/dictator, aristocracy/oligarchy, and democracy.
The USA under the constitution was designed in the form of a classical republic, but has since moved to a modern republic
Modern Republics are cancer and lead to leftism and the degeneration of society
Classical republics are effective at preserving a nation until they compromise one of their core founding principles.
👌 thank you
Basically, he has a rose-coloured view of a Classical Republic, one that is referred to by the Romans as being great, but we forget ourselves, that the Roman Empire fell because the Nobility and Civilian governments couldn't get along, the Senate worked against each other, and everyone forgot about the people of the empire. Then the last emperor was killed by a "Barbarian" and they Senate fell apart, power struggles, etc. Then it collapsed.
@Summī Imperator, 呪い殿 your entire criticism is invalid since you are conflating the empire with the republic. By the time of the empire they had already compromised on core founding principles. So thank you for giving an example of what I was trying to say.
Sooooo... It still failed, and that's all I said. Regardless of what you think you're saying, or what I'm saying, it still fell apart. That's the unbiased truth. The Roman Empire fell.
empire, not republic
big difference between the two
So you're saying that they should have just stayed in their country?
no, the republic had conquered foreign nations
Then it was an Empire.
the empire was a different form of governance
it had an emperor
this is just historical illiteracy. The time period known as the roman empire is distinct from the republic
So you glorify the breaking of tradition and overthrow of the Monarchy in order to become the Republic?
And that only lasted few centuries.
