my bad
Is cool, I gotcha dude
I think on this we have common ground
My issue is not people being richer, nor the existence of a boss, but the relationships to production
In some form or fashion working people should have democratic control of their work place and receive in full the value of their labour
That means no boss, lol.
You can elect a boss
Someone's job can be a manager
A boss who is accountable to the workers is ideal
But would you allow him to exercise his power even if he fails a majority test for a specified duration?
Likely he would be replaced
So, he is boss in name only, right? It is more like a direct democratic system
Management is obviously necessary
"in theory" "what it could be" "likely" "possibly"
Yes it is like a direct democratic system
So, no boss essentially. Because a boss could make no rules and do nothing without majority approval
communism leads to corruption
even tho thats the least of its problems
Well what is the role of a "boss" so to speak?
he makes the shots
The role of boss is to act as an intermediary between the owners and the workers
I wouldn't say that
Perhaps in some respects this is also a character under the current system
But managerial work is obviously necessary, is it not?
It is just that. If management says that you have to work for one more hour, it would make owner happy, but workers unhappy
it boggles my mind someone can like something that is horrible, and failed everytime and only brought death and misery and was proven to fail every single time
Yes, as things exist today
Well let's look at co-operatives
These exist today
Well, that is the role of a boss. Lets say we have a boss like you say. Before making every decision he would have to take care that his approval rating does not fall, right?
And still bosses exist
There is no direct democracy in cooperative system
democracy sucks tbh
Co-Operatives are in some respects a model for a socialist work place
Id rather the boss be much like today, anyone who makes the firm
All members of a co-operative own the co-operative
hwever say limiting the wage or forcing X% of it to be spent on the company
and X% minimum on wages
that way the company grows and the economy has fuel
person who makes the company can do whatever the fuck he wants, within the law that is, if you dont like his workplace, leave
