2018-05-19 15:22:23 UTC

lonely, shy, depressed, virgins/had rough breakups, no success with girls

2018-05-19 15:22:41 UTC

Always question stuff

2018-05-19 15:22:44 UTC

Because it started to appear absurd

2018-05-19 15:23:20 UTC

started noticing pseudoscience

2018-05-19 15:23:33 UTC

For me it started from an interest in stoicism.. That's the thing, many roads lead to TRP

2018-05-19 15:24:02 UTC

lifting, diet, mindfulness ect. They have some good shit. but the undertones are there.

2018-05-19 15:24:02 UTC

I stumbled upon it, tried a few things (be charming, lift, take initiative, etc), saw they worked, and went all in.

2018-05-19 15:24:10 UTC

Oh yeah, but that's how they get you

2018-05-19 15:24:19 UTC

They bait you in with truly good material and advice

2018-05-19 15:24:20 UTC

Do you have a mic bro?

2018-05-19 15:24:23 UTC

But mix it with BS

2018-05-19 15:24:32 UTC

I'm nursing rsi from submitting my masters xD

2018-05-19 15:24:45 UTC

yeah; what's RSI?

2018-05-19 15:25:18 UTC

repetitive strain injury. I also have a bad shoulder from playing too many video games 3 years ago. It's flared up.

2018-05-19 15:25:38 UTC

I had a spinal trauma from Aikido many years back

2018-05-19 15:25:55 UTC

@Maria Matthew me....never

2018-05-19 15:26:12 UTC

That's always good to know haha 😃

2018-05-19 15:26:12 UTC

gender @-stupidface- ?

2018-05-19 15:26:30 UTC

interesting how you ended up here if a dude

2018-05-19 15:26:44 UTC

I found him via another discord channel and invited him on

2018-05-19 15:26:45 UTC

I do find stupidface's profile triggering because I still like Trump lol

2018-05-19 15:29:14 UTC

So before I go here's my thoughts so far.

Do we have any experience/success to draw useful advice for people? I don't. I lost 40lbs of fat so I guess that's something i can help with.

We should encourage our own personal development as we understand where everyone comes from. Free from the scoulding BS of r/the blue pill and r/nice guys

2018-05-19 15:30:13 UTC

/rthebluepill and especially r/mens lib are pretty toxic

2018-05-19 15:30:51 UTC

though r/niceguys provides excellent examples of how NOT to pick up women

2018-05-19 15:31:03 UTC

people have their different areas of expertise. I think it's hard to find someone who has all areas covered. You should take what you like from dozens of various role models. E.g. learn from Trump about business, but not about marriage

2018-05-19 15:31:11 UTC

Congrats @tubby !

2018-05-19 15:31:58 UTC

I personally find honesty the best policy when it comes to talking to women and I beleive the same holds actual dating

2018-05-19 15:32:08 UTC

dunno if anyone would agree

2018-05-19 15:32:32 UTC
2018-05-19 15:32:37 UTC

Yup honesty is the best policy

2018-05-19 15:32:51 UTC

I'm not an expert either but If you need any advices on how the female brain works, or what woman want, here I am

2018-05-19 15:32:54 UTC

Of course you have to have tact and charm around it all

2018-05-19 15:33:02 UTC

Mixed in with some game and kino and you're sorted

2018-05-19 15:33:08 UTC

Totally agreed

2018-05-19 15:33:18 UTC

So what's your plan @Maria Matthew regarding this?

2018-05-19 15:33:20 UTC

if I need some rigid rules that exploit human nature to make someone attracted to me then probably I shouldn't be dating that someone

2018-05-19 15:33:28 UTC

EXACTLY

2018-05-19 15:33:35 UTC

@Maria Matthew Can you tell us about attention? TRP says attention is currency and you should be wise with how you spend it. What do you think? Should men limit the attention they want to give to girls so they don't "inflate their currency"?

2018-05-19 15:33:38 UTC

Regarding what exactly ?
