Does she have a thing for him or something?
I know she endorsed him
hmm
Karen's mother, I bet
who the fuck is Karen
Karen is the idea of a generic white soccermom from North Virginia
right
"These people want to turn our country into a brown third world shithole, but Trump says mean things on Twitter so I'll vote Democrat."
unfortunately, that's how a lot of White women in America think
Country club Republicans.
they vote Republican because they want the federal government to stay out of their lives so they can raise their children the way they want without interference
small-government voters
I guess so.
But we can't have a small government if the uniparty is in power.
@FLanon Why North Virginia? I know that the DC Suburbs are a Democrat stronghold, but I had no idea it was significant enough for a slang term like Karen
@🎃Boo-ton🎃 Twitter isn't a deciding factor for whe white women who voted against Trump
North Virginia is one example, and Karen is the most soccer mom name I could think of,
they also exist in the Chicago suburbs, Houston/Dallas suburbs, Philadelphia suburbs, etc.
and obviously there's more than just the tweets
many white college-graduate women see Trump's rhetoric and characteristics as degrading to the presidency
Karen doesn't see Trump as the kind of president who she can have her children look up to as a role model in society
@Deleted User also,
the "Soccer Mom Vote" phenomenon has existed for more than a decade now
they're a swing voter demographic,
this article gives a good run down on the soccer mom's history in American politics:
https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2016/07/2016-election-battleground-swing-states-soccer-moms-nascar-dads-demographics-trump-clinton-214047
I figured soccer moms like Trump
didn't they like Sarah Palin?
Married white women voted for Trump at a significant majority
also I figured Trump's twitter is written to specifically appeal to boomers
although to be fair, most soccer moms are Gen X at this point
and quite a few are millennials
the White Women vote can be broken down in many ways,
ex.:
White Christian Women voted Trump,
White Working Class Women voted Trump,
White College Grad Women did not vote for Trump,
White Married Women voted for Trump,
Single White Women did not vote for Trump
White Women overall voted for Trump by a 10-point margin
but it isn't smart to look at the national demographics,
you have to look at it from a regionalized viewpoint
and when you do, you will see that White College-educated women, which make up the plurality of women and the majority of white women in the districts that are controlled by Republicans but went for Hillary, are prevalent there.
hmm, so it comes down to those specific women
Any one know good ways to redpill your parents to get them to vote GOP?
