that's how he lost

2018-04-30 01:42:11 UTC

Come on, it was winnable

2018-04-30 01:42:16 UTC

Easily winnable.

2018-04-30 01:42:26 UTC

He didn't try hard enough.

2018-04-30 01:42:28 UTC

Maybe, but it would've given Democrats great ammo for the midterms.

2018-04-30 01:42:35 UTC

"phedo sympathizers"

2018-04-30 01:42:39 UTC

The fact is you need a big majority for that sort of thing.

2018-04-30 01:42:44 UTC

Roe v. Wade was a 7-2 decision for instance.

2018-04-30 01:43:02 UTC

@Nuke Heller Vs DC was 5-4

2018-04-30 01:43:10 UTC

Litteraly one more Democrat and the 2nd amendment would be gone.

2018-04-30 01:43:14 UTC

Just like that.

2018-04-30 01:43:39 UTC

Heller v. DC did not overturn anything. There's a tendency for the SCOTUS to not overrule, but instead weaken, and SCOTUS usually only weakens them really.

2018-04-30 01:44:03 UTC

A great example is Lochner, which is still an active decision, but they've declawed it so much that it's effectively overturned.

2018-04-30 01:44:11 UTC

Heller vs DC would have overturned it if the liberal side of the court had a majority is my point.

2018-04-30 01:44:23 UTC

even though precedent was set, it is basically meaningless.

2018-04-30 01:44:47 UTC

HELLER V. DC WOULD NEVER HAVE OVERTURNED ANYTHING

Jones is the luckiest politician alive, honestly

2018-04-30 01:45:35 UTC

The Second Amendment as we know it today was basically established in the 21st century.

2018-04-30 01:46:11 UTC

It was regarded as only applying to the federal govt until the 20th century and then no one really violated it until the 21st century when SCOTUS had to issue a ruling.

2018-04-30 01:46:22 UTC

He got an insane percent with the blacks

2018-04-30 01:46:30 UTC

Like 97% or something right?

2018-04-30 01:46:32 UTC

Virtually 100%

2018-04-30 01:46:33 UTC

yes

2018-04-30 01:46:44 UTC

what individuals right

2018-04-30 01:46:55 UTC

natural conservatives

2018-04-30 01:47:12 UTC

Furthermore, justices tend to not want to overturn things, as I said. The decisions you just cited had precedent at very least, as SCOTUS did not even rule that the First Amendment applied to states _at all_ until later on.

2018-04-30 01:47:32 UTC

Don't worry tho, Kanye will turn that around for sure

2018-04-30 01:47:56 UTC

I hope McDaniel campaigns right

2018-04-30 01:48:10 UTC

He's an excellent conservative,

2018-04-30 01:48:17 UTC

White Mississippi loves him

2018-04-30 01:48:23 UTC

but dear god

2018-04-30 01:48:26 UTC

the Black Bloc

2018-04-30 01:48:36 UTC

It would wipe him out

2018-04-30 01:49:16 UTC

@FLanon 98% of black women voted for Jones

2018-04-30 01:55:50 UTC

I think Espy won't be able to get Mississippi to vote for him because he's black tbh

2018-04-30 01:55:56 UTC

White turnout THROUGH THE ROOF

2018-04-30 02:04:07 UTC

@Nuke Tell me Deep Southerner,

2018-04-30 02:04:25 UTC
