The blacks are VERY democratic, and the whites are VERY republican.

You lost an incumbent advantage and the democrats had more votes than republicans in many NC districts

Races are based on turnout of those demographics.

Now, what will bring black people to vote in November?

Internal polling was ridiculously flawed during the West Virginia race.

Just because democrats commissioned the poll doesn't mean it's wrong.

They had a higher primary result for Rs

there's less motivation in general to vote in the primaries in North Carolina because there isn't even a Senate race

And you can vote for someone in any party in Ohio, so it's different from WV

think about it, if you live in a solidly red district and your House incumbent has been decent so far, why bother even going out to vote for him in the primary ?
