May I just say, Trump has been hitting it out of the park with the way he uses these tariffs.
Yeah I saw the tweets today, fair stuff, shows his intention.
The thing that free traders and guys like Button don't realize is they're not supposed to be a lasting way to get revenue like it's the 19th century.
Also the fact that he bent OPEC to his will was great

The tariffs are supposed to be a bargaining chip so that other countries get rid of their tariffs and we can export more.
The reason why he these tariffs are working and the past ones aren’t is because he’s using them as leverage/pressure to get what he wants and then lifts them. The past leaders just slapped them on
