@The Gwench how is this any reasonable question? the comet has "dust" coming off it that fly's slowly slowler and out from it creating a tail because its gravity isn't nearly enought to keep it together... while the sun in on fire and super over weight

@The Gwench The reason comets have a tail is because of "solar wind", a stream of charged particles being emitted constantly by the Sun. If you study comets when they appear, you'll find out that the direction of the tail is always away from the Sun, not in the direction the comet is moving. It is not because of motion, but because of dust and gases being "blown" off the comet.

@The18thDoctor lets talk about how they constructed this string of logic; as in what/why would they want us to think about it. aka in a flat earth model what logic would fit the same picture etc?

sure, but lets talk about the specific details; as in what "small" aspect of it could be different that compleately changes how we look at it; like what if the tail comes from more of a "wake" like from a boat in water from the "waters" above kinda deal

(also to note; the waters above could be of a wave length of energy/matter/gas etc that do fit the "space" solar wind model)
